How would you vet a TikTok Ads plus TikTok Shop operator for a small ecommerce brand?
We are doing around $2,000 per month in GMV and are trying to figure out the right next step for growth.
I am looking for advice from people who have actually managed TikTok Ads and TikTok Shop performance.
What would you look for in a strong operator at this stage?

- What are the best screening questions to separate real operators from people who just talk well?
- What would you expect them to check first in the account?
- What metrics would matter most for a one product shop at this GMV level?
- What budget is enough to generate useful learning in the first 30 days?
- Are there any red flags I should watch for?
