Is anyone else convinced TikTok is sending bot traffic

I’ve been running TikTok Shop ads for a while, and I’m starting to wonder if anyone else has experienced this.

Some weeks I’ll have solid profitability, then out of nowhere I’ll get a day where the traffic feels completely different. Today I had almost 200 sessions, 1 add to cart, 1 checkout, and 0 purchases. Yesterday and the rest of the week were normal.

The weird thing is some of my campaigns are getting 20–25% CTR with Purchase optimization, which sounds amazing on paper, but the visitors barely engage once they hit the site. It’s like they’re clicking but not shopping.

I’m not saying TikTok is literally sending bots—I know high CTR alone doesn’t prove that—but has anyone seen traffic quality randomly tank like this? Did it recover on its own, or did you have to duplicate campaigns, launch new creatives, or just ride it out?
Curious if this is just normal algorithm volatility or if other advertisers have noticed the same thing.

Suspended Account: cannot close, cannot get a refund

Hello, I created an account on TikTok Ads and tried for the first to start an ad campaign for the first time.

I transfered 200 euros + taxes (242 euros) and launched the campaigned...

... the campaign got immediately suspended and I am not sure why. There is nothing I can do: I can't change settings, I cannot open a ticket either, I cannot close my account.

How can I either re-activate my account or close it and get a refund?

Ad account suspension - how long does it take until we can use it again after suspension lift?

Anybody ever got their ad account suspended then successfully re-instated?

Our account got falsely suspended by AI citing 'scam / fraud'. I've submitted the relevant goverment docs to verify our legitimacy and the support said the suspension is lifted and the ad account will continue delivery as usual. However it's been 3 hours and the ad manager and the account settings still saying 'permanent suspension' just like it have been since yesterday. How long does it take for the ad account to function again?

Thanks and cheers.

TikTok Ads have high clicks but almost no conversion

So I'm trying to promote my app via tiktok ads. The organic content is pretty successfull in of itself, with thousands of views each and 100s of likes. I used traffic adn app promotion since I dont want to add an SDK, and teh videos got a ton of views and almost 1000 clicks. I checked app store analytics and during that time there were only 200 app store views and almost no download spike out of the ordinary. Anyone have a similar experience and or advice? Thanks, I feel like I'm jsut burning money.

How would you vet a TikTok Ads plus TikTok Shop operator for a small ecommerce brand?

We are doing around $2,000 per month in GMV and are trying to figure out the right next step for growth.

I am looking for advice from people who have actually managed TikTok Ads and TikTok Shop performance.

What would you look for in a strong operator at this stage?

The areas I care about are:

  1. TikTok Ads Manager
  2. TikTok Shop
  3. Spark Ads
  4. Shop Ads
  5. GMV Max
  6. Creator content
  7. Affiliate Center
  8. Creative testing
  9. Listing conversion
  10. CAC, ROAS, CTR, CVR, and profitable scaling

A few questions for the group:

  1. What are the best screening questions to separate real operators from people who just talk well?
  2. What would you expect them to check first in the account?
  3. What metrics would matter most for a one product shop at this GMV level?
  4. What budget is enough to generate useful learning in the first 30 days?
  5. Are there any red flags I should watch for?

Appreciate any practical advice from people who have been in the account and actually managed performance.

$10k spent on clothing tests with 0 winners, what am I missing?

I’ve been testing clothing products on TikTok Ads with a $50/day budget per test, and after $10k in total spend, I haven’t found a single winner. My success rate is currently 0%.

I need a reality check. For those successfully scaling apparel brands:

Is my $50/day/product testing budget sufficient, or is my testing framework the issue?

I’m clearly stuck in a cycle of failed tests. Any advice on how to pivot or what I should be analyzing in my reports would be appreciated.

Finally found it

I run two TikTok Shops doing around 100 orders/day combined. My competitors sell the same products (dried figs, chia seeds) and do 700–1,000 orders/day per shop.

Here's what they do:

  • same affiliate make 5–10 videos for the same product.
  • They aggressively push only one of those videos with ads.
  • That video reaches 3–5 million views within a day, while the others get much lower views.
  • After that, the whole product starts selling really well.

My question is: Why do they choose that one video? what make this video special? The engagement doesn't seem much different from the affiliate's other videos.

My theory is that instead of feeding GMV Max hundreds of videos, they focus on one winning creative to generate massive conversion data. Once that campaign is "trained," the other affiliates videos for the same product also start converting better and since it is converting more and more affiliate join and product more videos

what determine this winning creative for them? Has anyone else noticed this? Is that how GMV Max actually works, or am I missing something?

Ad Group Dropdown Showing No Data

This is my first time running ads on Tiktok, so forgive me. I'm new to this. For some reason, after submitting my new additional ads "Ad2", it is showing "no data" instead of providing the creative/content in the ad like the below "Ad1"... Is this because it is under review/new or is this a glitch or error on my part?

Recommend the best agencies for Tiktok agency accounts with credit line

Hey guys! Can you recommend an agency that offers net30 or net60 credit line agency accounts? Not for blackhat but for mainly grayish stuff.

Is anyone seeing AI-talking-head ads actually scale on TikTok in 2026, or is it a Meta-only problem?

After getting crushed on Meta with AI-talking-head creative (1.6-2.2x CPM, 0.5-0.7x CTR vs. real-creator baseline), I ran the same test on TikTok this month and got a totally different read. Quick breakdown since this sub usually wants specifics:

  • Same store, same product (supplements, US), ~$15k/mo TikTok spend.
  • 3 production paths, ~6 ads each, 14-day window:
    • Real UGC, one creator per batch: 1.0x CPM, 1.0x CTR, 1.0x ROAS (baseline).
    • Real UGC, multiple creators in parallel: 0.85x CPM, 1.05x CTR, 1.15x ROAS.
    • AI-talking-head (3 different vendors, realistic avatar, native TikTok-style hook): 1.05x CPM, 0.95x CTR, 0.92x ROAS. Way closer to baseline than Meta. Some of the better ones are actually still in rotation 3 weeks later.

The TL;DR from my test: TikTok's quality classifier seems to treat AI-talking-heads much more tolerantly than Meta's does. The hook + first-3-second pacing still matters enormously — the same AI creative with a weak opener dies in 6 hours. But the "uncanny valley = flagged" penalty I kept hitting on Meta isn't showing up the same way on TikTok, at least not in my account, in this category, in June 2026.

A few things I genuinely don't know and would love to hear from people running TikTok at a real scale:

  1. Are you seeing the same Meta-vs-TikTok gap in your account? Or is my category (supplements) just unusually AI-tolerant on TikTok?
  2. For accounts doing $50k+/mo on TikTok, has anyone run a clean A/B of AI vs. real-creator creative and gotten a result that contradicts what I saw? I'd rather know if I'm generalizing from a single niche.
  3. The "Spark Ads" question: anyone running AI-talking-head Spark Ads with real creator UGC posted as the original, then boosting? Curious if the algo treats that differently.
  4. Is the AI-tolerance on TikTok going to erode the same way it has on Meta? My worry is I'm buying into a 6-12 month window that closes the moment TikTok updates their classifier. Anyone else nervous about that?

The thing I'm specifically trying to figure out: should I keep the "AI in pre/post, real human on camera" rule I set for Meta, or run a separate "AI-OK" pipeline for TikTok? Currently leaning toward the latter, but I want to know what other operators are seeing before I commit the production budget.

Not selling anything, just running real tests and trying to figure out where the lines actually are in 2026.
