My birthday gift to myself!

I never thought I’d put my hands on a Pop vinyl in a near future because every time it appeared it was so expensive, but I was lucky enough to find the 2018 reissue for a reasonable price on Amazon. Didn’t think twice.

It’s the first new LP in my collection! All of the other ones I have are from the 80s/ 90s so this was a very nice different addition. I couldn’t be happier with it. This album deserves so much more appreciation.

It’s incredible how this band is able to lift my mood

I had just finished a 11+ hour day of work this evening and was so tired and annoyed at a few things that happened in the afternoon. I decided against taking a bus home because I knew it would be too crowded and I really couldn’t stand the push-and-pull of people, so I treated myself with an Uber.

The driver took a long time to arrive, which is okay, but I was already so tired. When the car arrived and I got in, I Still Haven’t Found started playing on the radio, and suddenly my mood got so much better. Listening to that song in such a spontaneous way really lifted my spirit in a way I didn’t think was possible for the rest of the day. I’m so thankful that this band exists.
