Good Deal?

I am looking for a good beater/first car. I saw this pop up on marketplace. https://www.facebook.com/share/1EQC99gJG6/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Whats everyone’s thoughts on the 2014 Patriot as a whole? I recognize they are not built the most solid - I would buy this because of the manual tranny and avoid any CVT issues.

has around 155000km

for 4K CAD it seems like a good deal. just making sure I’m not getting into a lemon. I can do work on it if needed (I was an apprentice mechanic at Chrysler for around a year so I know basic repairs up to clutch replacement and can work on things if needed but I want something that won’t be a headache)

I guess I just want to hear some firsthand experience from y’all and see what you think.

Cansofcom career questions

Hey everyone! I am very new to this world but looking at applying to join CAF (either as reserve or active) and working towards joining Cansofcom. I know that at this point that is very far down the road with a minimum of 2-4 years before special operations is even a consideration for career. I had a question that could be quite pivotal to my career (or whether i want to pursue it). Do you have to be ‘pinned’ (using this word because Reddit is picky about this topic if you dont understand my question I will do my best to elaborate. another post of mine was automatically removed because of some topics relating to the 2019 era) to serve as a special operator (Or other roles within the CAF)? I’m not trying to bring in any politics to this discussion, and I hope you don’t either. I just would like to know what the rules are regarding this. Thanks so much! And sorry if I’m just ignorant, I’ve just started trying to understand this world.
