I explored a small town in India that felt more peaceful than most tourist places

Most people only talk about Goa, Manali, or big tourist destinations, but this small place completely surprised me.

No crowds.

No influencers everywhere.

Just calm roads, local food mountains and genuinely kind people.

Honestly I enjoyed this trip more than some expensive tourist destinations.

India still has so many underrated places that people barely talk about.

What’s the most underrated place you’ve visited in India?

Nobody in Gurgaon is actually from Gurgaon.

I realized something weird recently

Every person I meet in Gurgaon is from somewhere else

Jaipur
Delhi
Chandigarh
Mumbai
Lucknow
Dehradun
Bangalore

Nobody says

I’m originally from Gurgaon.

The city feels like one giant waiting room full of ambitious overworked people trying to build a better life.

During the day
meetings
startups
traffic
coffee runs
office chaos

At night
rooftop bars
loneliness
random drives on Golf Course Road
existential crises

Gurgaon honestly feels less like a city and more like a temporary phase everyone gets emotionally attached to.

43°C outside and my ceiling fan just started blowing hot air

Bro at this point my fan is just an air fryer.
Went outside for 5 minutes and came back medium rare.
Gurgaon heat is not weather anymore it's a survival challenge
