Your experiences with Micro Gainz and metal on metal contact?

Thinking of getting Micro Gainz 1.25lb fractional plates. I have CAP Rubber Hex Ergo Dumbbells. At some point, I plan on upgrading to a nicer set of dumbbells like Rogue or Rep Urethanes.

I'm mostly paranoid about the metal on metal potentially scraping and eventual rust developing. Will the Micro Gainz eventually rust by virtue of using them and paint scraping off? What about potential damage to dumbbell handles?

Anyone use Micro Gainz long term can share their experiences on this?

Getting VO2 Max reading with FR165

Back in March, I got the FR165. I went to an outdoor track, and I think I chose "Walk" as my workout choice. It synced up to GPS, and I walked at a very brisk pace, with intermittent running thrown in. And I got a VO2 reading.

The last two times I went to the track, I can't seem to get a VO2 reading so I am wondering what I may be doing wrong. I believe I chose "Track Run" and then "Run" respectively.

Unfortunately, I am not able to actually flat out run a full mile yet so I wind up walking most of it, and running as my body allows.

So for my last tracking, I selected "Run" and the GPS synced properly. And I wound up running for about 30 seconds to 1 minute at a time. And I think I stayed mostly in Zone 4 if I am reading the watch correctly. I did about 1.2 miles in 19:16 minutes. No VO2 reading. My heart was definitely pounding for the majority of that session! The exact mile finished at 16:52/mi average pace which I saw was much better than last time.

Any advice or tips? I tried researching and haven't found a solid answer. Like I said, I did get a VO2 max reading when I first got the watch, so not being able to get it again since is throwing me off as to what I am doing wrong.
