Help with distorted Drum File
Hi im Avy! Just a heads up. I DONT USE REDDIT. So if im on the wrong site or something pls lmk and ill take the post down. So my band recorded a jam about a year or so ago. Everything went fine except for one thing, either the microphone or the mic cable was messed up so when id hit my 2nd tom it would distort the track. Its been a thorn in my side ever since because i really loved the take but cant release it because of the distortion. was wondering if there was a way to recover the tom sound and remove the distortion? Ive tried audacity and im ashamed to admit this as a musician but I tried using an AI to fix it. Didn't work. Although I was able to separate the drums from the track and then separate the toms from the drums so hopefully that would make it easier.
Sorry if this is a ramble. Im a drummer not a mixer or audio engineer so im clueless when it comes to this. Any help would be appreciated. If someone is wanting to take a crack at it I can send the files through a Drive. And ofc I am willing to pay for the service if it can fix the distortion. Thank you!
