My best friend Pickle came along on vacation. We saw state forests, went to the country store, saw fireworks and panned for gold. We had a great time!

And spends all day watching the birds out the window.

Today on my lunch break I visited Goodwill in hopes of finding my grandmother some new pants that fit her. At checkout I saw this little guy and I could not get him off my mind. When it came time to pay, I impulse grabbed him and now I have a tiny sock monkey friend. They are currently hanging with me while I finish up work - when I get home I am going to look more at the adoption booklet. At quick glace I saw it offered information on "socialization" as well as "introducing to new siblings". I saw it also offers a certificate of adoption. This was a fantastic use of $4 and a good start to the weekend 😺

Also - grandma got new pants! Successful trip indeed.

I always tell him I'm gonna nibble his little legs 😸 They are just so cute a chubby!
