2013 3.8 A/T here,

The original power steering pump i had with the car ended up going dead after i was doing donuts 🤣. So i recently replaced it which was a headache in itself

Car was running fine and steering was fine for 2-3 weeks, Recently I’ve noticed a not so slight noise when I turn the wheel, I haven’t done any donuts or any sliding in the car out of fear for what happened to my last pump so It’s kind of baffling to me that this is happening now

Any ideas?

Recently, I’ve noticed a ticking sound through the idle, it doesn’t increase with rpm and sometimes it’s quiet then sometimes it’s loud. I’ve heard the injectors can be pretty loud on this car but i’m at the point where i don’t think it’s that anymore.

May be unrelated but my exhaust tone has started to
shift as well, when i’m driving I can hear what i could only describe as the sound of reeling a fishing line towards the back of my car.

Is the injectors really this loud or is it time for me to hear some uncomfortable answers?
