trying to master the turkish language

Hi! I am trying to improve my turkish (as a turkish person who grew up outside of Turkiye). As of right now I can understand turkish fully, and speak it quite comfortably in conversations. However, I want to get better in my pronunciation and accent, as at times I struggle with pronouncing difficult and long words, and you can definitely tell I'm a native English speaker from my accent. I am also thinking of living in Turkiye one day, so I want to learn how to speak Turkish beyond casual conversations, and in a more professional, elevated manner. I already watch a lot of Turkish dizis, and listen to Turkish music, and I want to start reading Turkish books that will help me speak it more professionally, if that makes sense? Any recommendations for books or any tips that will help me improve my turkish would be much appreciated!!

questions about monash law

Hi guys! I am currently a year 12 student who is considering doing law at monash however I have a few questions that I thought you guys may be able to answer.

  1. The ATAR is 95, a year ago at my school's career expo the lady at the monash stand said that if you are planning to do a double degree, and don't get the atar for law, you could do the other degree with the lower atar first then transfer into law after a semester, by obviously meeting the prerequisites. so for example doing bachelor of arts first, then after a semester transferring into law and adding it to your course. well the guy this year at the career's expo stand said that it's really hard and competitive to get into, which I knew, but my question is, is there a chance that like i won't get accepted at all even after meeting all the prerequisites? like what if im just stuck doing only bachelor of arts and never get into law 😭😭

  2. this leads to my second question, if there is a high chance of this happening, then am i better off just doing law at another uni like la trobe? however everyone says monash is the best for humanitarian/immigration law, which is what i want to do, people say monash is also really good for better employment opportunities, will i be at a big disadvantage if i don't go to monash when it comes to finding a job?

  3. is monash law really worth it 😭i hear so many mixed reviews, so like all jokes aside is it actually a course that lives up to its prestige?

  4. I know this is gonna be weird asking this on the monash sub, but what other uni's do you guys know of that are good for humanitarian/immigration law?

Thanks!
