LEARN TRANSIT

I love you, San Francisco, but LEARN HOW TO TAKE TRANSIT. I’m currently commuting on an N during Friday rush hour. Men are flagrantly sitting on seat seams, spreading across two seats. People seemingly of all genders are putting their bags on a seat meant for a human being. As always, not enough people are moving away from the doors and utilizing all available space.

We can’t be a real city until we all LEARN HOW TO TAKE TRANSIT. Yes, you live in California. Also yes, you live in a city. SHARE YOUR SPACE AND KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR YOUR FELLOW PERSON. I’ve taken transit while pregnant on a regular commute in both New York and SF. SF people were far worse about giving me a seat.
