I’m getting a hard gel manicure this Sunday with a new nail tech and need to find a place that will do just a file off removal of my current hard gel set.
I’m kind of concerned about being able to get a good, non-rushed removal since I’m not going to get a manicure, polish or anything. I don’t want to assume someone would do a rush, potentially damaging job, but I feel like it wouldn’t be much of an enticing appointment to a nail shop.
Any ideas or recommendations? The only thing I’ve thought about is just booking some kind of hand massage upcharge to sort of make it clear ahead of time I’m intending to leave a big tip.

They are doing me a huge favor and this would be a gift that is (1) relevant to their interests and the favor they are doing for me (2) highly entertaining for all parties. However, I don't want something from like, Spirit Halloween. I do want it to obviously be a captain's hat.

The thing is, most volunteering I’ve done in the past- usually mentorship and child focused programs- aren’t great for meeting others. After 34, almost 35 years of being the hyper independent daughter/friend who has been there for everyone, I've been told multiple times to pour that love inward and am feeling ready to. I want to start taking fitness seriously, especially now that I’m in my 30s and in the worst shape of my life.
I’ve always hated working out because I find it hard to stick to it beyond a few months (the muscle soreness after a “good” workout is an incredibly unpleasant experience for me) and now I’m getting a bit overwhelmed by decision fatigue on how to get started.
I’m good on cardio but totally at a loss for strength training.
How did you begin your fitness journey? What kept you going? How do I start strength training? What kind of workouts should I even do as a beginner?
I have access to a decent gym in my apartment + at work. Also willing to pay for classes, personal trainers and such if they arent prohibitively expensive (<$100/session).
I’d ideally like to be able to work out at home for the most part and supplement with classes/PT.

I am in desperate search for wedding guest dresses; however, we are middle eastern and weddings are over the top. A lot of the typical sites like lulus or whatever are a little basic for what im going for. I need sequence or movement or something going on. Does anyone know of any websites or places to look. I am leaning towards darker colors and open to suggestions if anyone has specific dresses in mind.
Random but I bought these dresses recently for a trip, ended up getting something else, and am not using or returning them. They are new and never been worn and also in season. The polka dot dress is an XS and I have both the S and M in the teal sequin dress but they fit like an XS and S. If these look like something you would like to wear, just drop your mailing address and I will ship them to you for free. Just want them out of the house but also feel bad throwing them away outright or putting straight to Goodwill! Not trying to sell them or anything just figure one of my fellow SFBWT can enjoy them🩵

Top- usually a small, I’m approximately a 34DD right now
Waist - best if adjustable and flaring out because my natural waist may have gone back down to a S-M by then? But I will have quite a little puff on the lower belly.
Height - 5’4 and happy to wear either flats or heels if that helps get it closer :)
