Idiot neighbor won't turn her loud ass fan off and now she's trying to publicly shame me and punish me for walking into her apartment to turn it off for her
My neighbor has consistently refused to turn off her loud ass fan despite numerous notes I've left for her telling her how inconsiderate and obnoxious it is and yet she continues to use it and says that she's "renting" so she can't replace it.
Well yesterday enough was enough and during my surveillance of her door I noticed a contractor leaving for lunch so I told him that I needed to go into her apartment. He didn't understand English very well so he let me in. (Probably an illegal. I guess they finally were good for something other than creating a shortage of construction workers.)
I walked into the apartment intent on shutting that damn fan up when she suddenly appears out of nowhere and has the audacity to demand I leave when I was invited in by the construction worker! Can you imagine? I told her I was there to turn the fan off and then she rudely asked me to leave again.
I tried explaining to her that I didn't know she was home and just wanted to turn off the obnoxious fan she forgot to turn off, and she refused to let me do it and told me to leave again. Rude and ungrateful.
Now she's trying to shame me online and dumbass redditors are insisting that I was trespassing so she needs to report it to the police, her landlord, and the HOA so there will be a paper trail if (when) I do it again and that I should pay to have her carpet cleaned after I rubbed mud into it. (I got mud on my shoes while I was seeing if her window was unlocked. Sue me.) They keep ignoring that the construction worker let me inside so it is impossible for me to have been trespassing. I was a guest!
Someone is even pretending to be a defense attorney and insisting they know more about the law than I do. LMFAO.
Am I underreacting?
