Hi all! Looking for the best way to transport an older pickup truck from the GR area to Oceana County (75 miles or so). The truck does not run and its plates/tags are currently expired.
I’m trying to help my father out as it is his vehicle, and he is not able to come get it. My first thought was to use AAA for a tow but they will not cover it as it is not an emergency tow. Prices I was quoted for the one way tow were 700-900 dollars.
I’m thinking it might be cheaper to get it running (mobile or local mechanic) and try to drive it there myself. Just trying not to break the bank and get this truck out of here safely.
Any suggestions on transport or what I can do? Thanks!
