Looking for rental North Austin to Round rock Budget $1500

Hello all.

I am looking for a place. Can be any size. Can be any amount of rooms.

I live with my partner and two cats.

I work in security and very recently negotiated a pay raise and now make between $4500 and $6600 a month before taxes depending on hours.

I also started collecting Gi Bill MHA for online classes, around $1200 a month untaxed.

My partner recently sorted out her citizenship papers and got a serving job at Jim's just south of cedar park.

We have been steadily paying weekly to live in a hotel for two years on just my income.

We were evicted two years ago for non payment of rent. The place was not weather tight and we had electric bills in the $600 range for a small one bed apartment. I was a full time in person student at ACC and when the VA was 30+ days late we could not keep up.

The landlord inflated a $3000 balance into a $10000 balance and sent it to a collector. I have realized it might be illegally inflated and I am trying to figure out what to do about it.

I am comfortable with showing the ledger to any potential rental owner and fronting a higher deposit/couple months rent.

I am just really tired of spending $1800+ a month to live in a small hotel room. We are open to basically any options as long as the two very mild mannered cats can come along.

I also know this is a longshot post and this is a difficult market.

Guards On Call, ridiculousness. Maybe a disrespectful message?

Been doing security for a while now. I have noticed since coming to Austin a lot of these companies are insane.

This is a message from a side job. I keep these people around for extra hours. Mind you this is a place that pays $17 an hour pays some people as low as $12.

Is the overall tone of this message disrespectful or not?

I am wondering if they have become more annoying than what the extra money is worth.
