Basically the title.
Was thinking of applying but don’t want my current and previous managers to find put.

I heard from someone who has worked in apple stores that for any apple device, the amount they charge for a new unit under AppleCare+ if your device is dead, is the about the actual amount that they need to build that one piece.

Given this, the amount they were charging for SSDs and stuff was already too damn high that people took their time to digest that it is what is it with apple.

But this new charges are just too high that makes me question the benefits. Now i dont want those rich fuoclks fanboys to start shooting at me - i am a normal consumer who gets affected by each dollar change in price.

So i want to know what other conscious buyers are thinking abt it.

What do you guys think?

I got two options for General onboarding, either today (in 5hrs, in evening) or next Monday.

I haven’t got proper sleep last night and I am prone to headaches after afternoon sleeps.

So should I schedule to Monday or stretch and finish it today? If it is a one-on-one then I might prefer to have full energy and schedule for Monday.

I got mail yesterday.

I am currently on notice period. And I have a full time job offer along with xAI tutor contract.

I have signed the xAI contract before I got the full time job offer.

Now I am in a dilemma whether I should join the job or work on contract.

The issue is the company will 100% won’t allow working on anything else while doing the job.

Constraints:

xAI is lucrative financially (even in short term). xAI is just 6-month contract with single day termination clause. The full time job doesn’t involve innovative work but it has stability. The full time job pays in a year what xAI can pay me in a month.

Basically the question.

Answer:
- We need to work in US time during training period which is approx 1-2 weeks.

It is general question but interested in hearing from people working as xAI AI SWE Tutor.

- Is the work consistent for full six months?
- Does the work dries up after a few weeks?
- Anyone’s contract got terminated before 6 months?
- Do people have issues approving hours?
- What is the overall experience of contractors?
