116509 Meteorite Review

First things first: I think overall this watch came out great, it’s heavy and well balanced, good feel on wrist, etc.

Mods I had done:
Custom 215g case + bracelet
White gold plated
SW dial+hands
Deep crystal
Service movement

2 things, though:
- The bracelet rattles a bit too much, kind of ruins the premium vibe it gives
- Some links even squeak since I assume they were not lubricated and it’s a little annoying and obvious

If those 2 things were resolved this watch would look and feel great

Don’t see very many of these floating around here, let alone modded so here it is!

Mods:
Base ZF 15202IP
White gold plated screws
Newest DP dial batch
DP date wheel
Pizza hands*
Some refinishing on bezel and middle links

Overall should be excellent when in hand, people sleep on this watch here

It really isn’t that deep

I feel like most people don’t understand (especially those who haven’t been around gen watches so much) that the posts you see here comparing X watch versus gen are close up, HD images.

In reality, today I walked into a Patek, Rolex, and Vacheron AD, and yes while some watches those small details matter, high-end reps and genuine watches for popular models are so incredibly close, since in real life these watches almost look small.

Take the 5167a for example, you see QC’s about how a number is slightly off, saw one today at the AD, and it’s tiny!!

TLDR, buy the rep bro
