Hello! We’re looking for a few people who want to get some moderation experience under their belt. Ideally, you’d also enjoy being part of the server in other ways but that’s not 100% required.

To keep it short: we’re an adult-only Genshin Impact gaming + fandom hybrid server, with dedicated areas for Honkai Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, and Wuthering Waves.

Because we’re adult-only, our current mod team is made up of people with full-time careers, university work, and/or families to take care of. That means that sometimes we just can’t be as active as the 15/16-year-old mod teams in other Genshin servers.

We’ve already got an automod and a ticket system configured as well as a verification setup that’s kept any malicious bots out of the main channels. However, we’ve had a few people being rude and inflammatory toward each other. That’s strictly against our rules, but it’s hard to stay on top of in a server with a lot of channels (the epic highs and lows of having a gaming server and fandom server smooshed together). And a lot of the time, the people on the receiving end try to be the bigger person and just let it go without reporting it. That’s mostly what we need help with right now.

Moderator Team Specifics:

• The server is SFW by default but has role- and age-verified NSFW channels. Mods will be expected to moderate both. (Other staff teams aren’t required to be in NSFW channels.) This does mean mods have to be age-verified through Discord.
• Mods have to know and follow all server rules (In short: be nice, follow Discord ToS, and keep things organized but moderators are expected to know what exactly that means for our server). You also need to be at least somewhat active daily.
• New mods go through a two-week "mod in training" period (or as well call them in the server, Ratniks) to make sure you’re a good fit.
• We’re about 200 members total. Current mod team is me (owner) + six others with two of those members on a LOA of sorts (one is moving, the other getting ready for med school).
• English-only server. Mod team needs good English communication skills.
• We warn and clarify rules before moving to a strike system where one strike is a stern warning about repeat-behavior, two is a week time-out, and three is a kick with a temporary ban. Mods need to be patient and fair. So far, we haven’t had to kick or ban any real human accounts.
• No prior experience needed. We’ll teach you the bots and procedures during training.
• This is unpaid, so we’re looking for people who genuinely want to be here or need the experience for something else.

Not into moderating for us but still interested? We also need help with:

• Tidy Team (channel usage correction only, no age verification required)
• Art Team (banners, emotes, etc)
• Events Team (current events are Pull Parties and themed fanfic/art related events)
• Media & Marketing Team (We just set up a twitter and bluesky but will be making a tiktok as well)
• Leaks Team (Right now our leaks system is automated)

• Art & writing spaces with a sprint bot, feedback ping, self-promo channel, Ao3 bot, and role-locked NSFW channels (including a "dead dove" channel)
