Hi guys, i hope this is appropriate to post here and won’t be seen as marketing per se.
We are a community garage based in Brooklyn NY (Gotham depot moto) and we have been given both the Can-Am Pulse and Origin to ride the bikes and offer free test rides for anyone in the NY area.

We’re not retailers, we do not sell the bikes, we do not benefit from sales, only here to grow the e-moto awareness.

Hi, does anyone know what’s going on with the sidewalks and specifically corners getting torn apart and (hopefully) repaired?
I’m near 34th and 36th ave and every other street corner is demolished right now.

Hi, I was gifted a Pentax 67 which had been sitting in someone’s closet for years and years. As you can imagine it’s completely jammed up.

I’m based in NYC and took it to Nippon camera. They quoted me about $550 for general overhaul, CLA. They also noted that the prism is heavily scratched and the meter is inoperable.

It’s apparently a “first gen” 6x7 and parts are hard to find.

Three questions:
1: does this seem like a fair quote?
2: any recommendations where I could drop off/ship to for a 2nd opinion?
3: worth a try? Or better off trying to find one in working condition (I should mention, I only have the body as of now, and haven’t even bought a lens for it yet)

Otherwise, I’ll just stick to shooting on my Rolleiflex then :)

Hey, anyone knows what’s going on at this school and how long the work is going to take?

Scaffoldings went up a few weeks ago at this point so I’m guessing the work is only just starting unfortunately.
School is still going so I get why they have to work at night but I’m a block away and I hear everything every freaking night, it’s crazy.
