1/64 diecast mountain road (40x30cm). Larger size than previous projects, featuring weathered grating ditch covers, detailed rocks, and resin ocean waves.

⭐Finally included the grating ditch covers along the curb that I missed in my previous mountain road builds.

⭐Swapped the original grass layout for a resin ocean this time. Pushed the details on the mountain and cliffside rocks much further to give them a more realistic, weathered texture.

⭐I’ve featured other car models this time, as the custom AE86 and EVO from my previous posts have been purchased by a customer.

⭐This is a larger build, measuring 40cm x 30cm and 20cm in height.

Drainage ditches and grates are where the true soul of a mountain pass lies!

👉Finally included the drainage ditch and grates along the curb that I missed in my previous mountain road build.

Swapped the original grass for a hand-crafted resin ocean.

Pushed the details on the mountain and cliffside rocks much further to give them a more realistic, weathered texture.

Honestly, I repainted the rocks multiple times just to get this exact look.

⭐Also featured some different car models this time, as the custom LED AE86 and EVO from my previous posts have already been sold

⭐This is a larger build this time, measuring 40cm x 30cm and 20cm in height

AE86 attacking the mountain pass - 1/64 JDM diorama

1/64 scale mountain pass diorama featuring an AE86 taking the corner, with custom LED lighting setup

🔴 Note: I realized too late that I missed the gutter and drain covers, so I added a low guardrail instead. Definitely incorporating them into my next build—they’re essential for that iconic Initial D corner look.

1/64 coastal touge diorama with remote-controlled LED cars

Sharing my 1/64 scale midnight racing setup:

The Scene: Features a layered sedimentary rock cliff and retro Japanese billboards with a manual light switch.

The Cars: Custom-wired with a remote-controlled LED lighting system.

Posted a similar concept before, but used a completely different rock technique for this new build.

While my previous build featured sharper, darker, and more rugged volcanic-style rock faces, this new one uses a different carving technique to achieve a layered sedimentary cliff with natural erosion cavities. I also reduced the background mountain area and added more billboards instead. The featured cars are custom-wired with a remote-controlled LED lighting system, allowing independent control over the headlights for a more realistic night scene.

Throwback to a custom 1/64 build: TimeMicro Lancer Evo X with wireless RC LED setup

Installing so many LEDs in this scale is a real test of patience and eyesight. It’s expensive and risky.

one wrong move and you’ll snap a side mirror or crack the transparent light covers. Really happy with how this one turned out!
