I have a confession to make

I know a lot of people don't like it cause it looks a bit goofy or cartoony but I like it, it's smooth, it's fluid and I like the way the zapper is swinging his axe, I would say i like both the original and updated one and I wouldn't mind if they reverted back

Question: why are the zappers eyes orange?

Because what people are saying is the lore reason why runners and viral runners have red eyes is because their eyes are bloodshot from the effects of the blight, then what are the zappers eyes supposed to be? Like why are they orange, lorewise
