No big exposition, just... What if Rothfuss, instead of writing another book, fleshed out the rest of the story through a bunch of short stories?
Kind of like how Stephen King wrote The Green Mile.
Then he could write it out one story at a time and finally sate our expectations, while giving him space to write without the pressure of having one giant book.
I'm just spitballing here but if he reads this forum, and that thought crosses his mind...
