Building a loft bed…

And I have a few questions:

  1. I already have a few 12’ 2x4s, can I attach those together to use as 6’ 4x4 posts? If so what is the best way to do it safely? Or perhaps I need a 2x6 and 2x4?

  2. What is the best way to attach the beams to the posts? If I need to use bolts can someone tell me the exact kind to look for?

  3. This is be a queen sized loft with four posts and two sides will be bolted into the wall studs for extra stability.

My plan is to have four posts with 2 2x6 beams attached longways then 2x4 joists across the width and plywood or mdf on top. Am I missing anything?

Anybody want free SCOBY for kombucha making?

I grew these SCOBY’s with love (and a store bought bottle of gt) and made two successful batches of kombucha but my ADHD brain is just not built for keeping up with this hobby so I have two thicc SCOBYs that need a new home.
Anybody want?

Heard we’re public shaming?

Unfortunately I never ran into them to shame in person but maybe they or someone who knows them will see this and tell them they suck.

Person on my block just moved out and left tons of trash scattered on the sidewalk and completely blocking the building’s trashcans. The trash cans weren’t even full so no reason for this besides straight entitlement and lack of regard for others having to clean up after them. Amongst the rubbish were things like anal beads and a litter box still full of cat shit (so clearly not just left on the curb for others to take).

If this is you, thank you for moving. I hope your new home is very far away and infested with roaches and rats who lick your face while you sleep
