First knife I've ever made and I just went to quench it but I'm pretty sure it's still soft I've read about normalizing the metal before quenching it and that I shouldn't heat up my oil but I don't know what color I should be looking for or anything like that
The knife is made out of the spring off of a strut and I'm using canola oil to quench it
Hey I'm from Saskatchewan and was wondering if anybody had any tips or places I should check out to give me the best shot of catching a salmon. I'm in Chilliwack right now but will drive just about anywhere I have waiters and a paddle board so I can go just about anywhere.

Just swap the engine on my mini bike and my CVT won't engage fully when I'm riding it but it will when the rear end of the bike is lifted up
