Happy Hour Hall of Fame

I think it would be fun if they did a Listeners Happy Hour Hall of Fame ep, where we submit our object, person, place, feeling or thing and go through them, could even just be a small segment within each main show, where they select like 5 listener ones.

What would everyones Hall of Fame thing be?

Mine would be the feeling of the sun setting at a festival, your fave band is on after a day of your other fave bands and artists, a little tipsy/drunk, weather was a perfect 23-24°C full blue skies in the day, and drops to 18-20° at night, with a bit of rain that lasts for one song, not enough to soak you and piss you off, but enough to perfectly cool things down, and it happens to be in the middle of the most fitting song.

What guests you would like

Probably something that comes up quite offen but who would you like to see on the Pod? I feel like everyone moans about the guests (personally, if i don’t have much interest in a guest, i just won’t watch? Wild concept, i know) but who would make a good guest

My fave guests lately have been Zac Alsop, Grace Neutral, Simon Wilson and Sophie Lloyd.

I’d love to see Yungblud at some point (maybe after his mental health break). He’d be a greaaat guest.

I still think all these years on that Zoella and Alfie would be so interesting to see, opinions on jaacks videos, being part of the original uk youtubers, life now etc!

I’d love to see George Clarke and Arthur TV on the pod too since they’ve had Arthur Hill and Italian Bach on.

MGK would have been great but understand he might be a bit big, would have just been funny to see them chat about when they met before

Honest opinions

My order arrived and i’ve given them a little try today, so wanted to share my honest opinions from a die hard Rhode fan, and also see everyone elses opinions!

I got:

- Lip Trio

- Terry bag with Sunbed Bronzer, Shade 02 milk and and extra Honey Mango

- Glazing Mist

- Stickers

Okay first thing, stickers:

I love Rhode, but stickers and temporary tattoos as a freebie i find cheapens the brand! I think a little bag charm (similar to Gisou), claw clip, fan or something could have been much cuter and more in line with the launch.

Glazing Mist:

My 4th? Repurchase of this, love it so much but i wish it was bigger, i find a bottle of this last me about 6-8 weeks with everyday use, wheras full size glazing milk lasts about 4 months. However still love it

Terry bag:

I travel a lot to festivals etc so i know i’ll use this, muuuuch prefer it to the bubble bags that fit about 3 things in 😂 this could fit my whole daily makeup bag!

Worth £30+? Not sure but i know i’ll use it

Highlight milk:

First impressions i loooove, and wish i’d got shade 03 to wear instead of a skin tint on good skin days, or on my body, will probably buy it when it restocks! It feels exactly like the glazing milk just with more glow!

Bronzer:

Love this!! I have been looking for a cream bronzer that doesn’t feel like paint, and doesn’t need setting, and this is sooo stunning. I have light-med skin, currently wearing fake tan and it hasn’t made me orange at all. I usually find cream bronzers either looks grey or orange and no in between so i’m super happy with this. Think i’ll get Pebble for my paler days.

Lip trio:

First impressions are based off swatches, i’m hoping i feel different after trying them on my lips, but these are boring 😔 i was expecting more shimmer from honey mango and colada, but its barely noticeable, the shades all feel verrrry similar. The scent of macadamia butter just smells like cinnamon to me, and colada smells like vanilla. Honey mango smells amazing and i knew i’d love it which is why i got that one twice, its closest to PBJ for me which is one of my all time faves, so i’ll get my use out of them! But yeah i’m a little disappointed. The amount of shimmer from jelly bean and lemontini would have been PERFECT for this summer drop, so i’m unsure why they made the shimmer so subtle. The swatch in the picture is Honey Mango compared to Lemontini for reference.

Whats everyone else honest thoughts, and what will you be repurchasing/picking up in different shades?
