Dropping out of sixthform

Is it worth dropping out of alevels at the end of year 12 if the degree I want to do is not relevant to the alevels I chose last year. I want to do something along the lines of environmental science but I’m taking media, psychology and criminology as i hadn’t thought through what I wanted to do when choosing. I really just don’t want to repeat year 12 but I know it’s gonna be quite hard to write my personal statement with these subjects.

Is it worth dropping out of sixthform

Im at the end of year 12 but I’ve just hated the entire year so badly- socially and academically that I just want to drop out and not do year 13. I decided to stay at my secondary schools sixthform even though I didn’t enjoy year 7-11. However this year has somehow been worse as my *friend group* that I’m not really friends with hate each other. Which has resulted in me feeling even worse and more stressed out. It doesn’t help that year 11 me picked the most stupid subjects that I’m not even interested in anymore (psychology, criminology and media).

I’ve been considering doing a college course instead because I don’t think it’s worth the stress to do year 13. But then again I don’t want to complete another two years with people younger than me. I do wanna go uni so I’m not sure if I should just complete year 13 miserably or drop out. I would have dropped out months ago but I signed up for a trip that had zero refunds and it’s in October.
