Double Refund
Booked a flight on a booking platform.
Wanted to change the flight because I saw a better option.
Called them and they couldn’t change it for me but I was allowed to cancel it and they would refund me full so I could book another flight.
I asked them to refund me in platform credit because I was afraid that if they would refund the money back to my card my bank would take a long time and the other flight would have gone up in price.
They said that is ok. But after they cancelled my flight I got the refund in my bank and not in platform credit. This only took 2 days so it was fine.
Booked a new flight. And everything was fine.
Now 1 week later I check my account and the refund from the first cancellation had been credited in platform credits!
So I got a cash refund AND platform credits.
Just used the credits ( worth 700EUR) to book my hotel for this trip.
I feel so lucky but wht are the chances they ask me to pay something? Essentially I got double refunded
