Trip to Utah and Arizona National parks
I am planning a trip to visit few national parks in Utah and Arizona from Vegas in the 1st week of October over 5 days.
I have these 2 options:
------------------Option 1 ---------------- (Clockwise Vegas - Bryce canyon - Zion canyon -Page - Grand canyon - Vegas)
Day 1 - Vegas to Bryce, visit Bryce Amphitheater, Queen's garden/Navajo loop
Day 2 - Bryce to Zion, Scout Overlook and Canyon overlook( if time permits)
Day 3 - Narrows in Zion and travel to Page, Horseshoe bend
Day 4 - Lower Antelope canyon in the morning and travel to Grand canyon south rim, cover main points
Day 5 - Grand canyon to Vegas
----------------Option 2--------------- (Anti-clockwise: Vegas - Grand canyon - Page - Bryce - Zion - Vegas )
Day 1 - Vegas to Grand canyon south rim, cover main points
Day 2 - Travel to page , visit lower antelope canyon and horseshoe bend, travel to bryce canyon
Day 3 - Visit Bryce Amphitheater, Queen's garden/Navajo loop and travel to Zion
Day 4 - Narrows in the morning and Scout overlook post lunch.
Day 5 - Zion to Vegas.
I need to return to Vegas by 1-2pm on Day 5 so i have to start early.
Out of the 2 options, Option 1 gives me more time in Zion.
Option 2 gives me one full day in Zion without any travelling except my stay to Shuttle start point.
I know Day 1 in both the options have lot of travel time but can it be manageable since we are 2 drivers?
Day 4 in both options have lot of activities but are those manageable?
I am more inclined towards option 2.
Please feel free to suggest any changes or modification.
