Hey!
I’m here from Canada visiting for the World Cup match but was looking for things to do when games aren’t on. What are some things you have to see/do while in Dallas? It doesn’t necessarily have to be soccer related. I’m staying in downtown but don’t really have a problem getting to other parts of the city. Any and all recommendations are welcome! Thank you in advance!
I have 24 final fan fest tickets for sell.
shoot me a price for a ticket
Have family friends in town and looking to go to Fan Fest today (July 5)
Anyone have tickets they don’t plan on using to help out two couples with young kids who didn’t have the energy to grab their free tickets in advance 😅?
July 5th*
Heading to Dallas for the first time for the World Cup with a group of friends and looking for recommendations.
We’re staying in Deep Ellum and want to find some spots for:
Fun bars and nightlife
Good party atmosphere
Great local food spots (nothing fancy, just really good food)
We’re in our late 20s/early 30s and looking to have some fun bar hopping/partying. I heard Deep Ellum is good for food and Midtown may be fun for bars, but would love to hear locals’ opinions.
Also sports bars to watch Brazil and Mexico/England tomorrow.
Thanks!
Hi I’m going downtown to maybe see the Portugal national tomorrow but don’t know the times so does anybody know when they are going to be outside their hotel?
I need to downsize my closet. Too much bloat.
I have some clothes that are fine and rather not cut them up into rags. Does anyone know of a place my clothes will actually be given to people in need?
Hi!! it’s my first time actually exploring dallas & i was thinking about going to a latin club for the 4th today but i don’t really want to be in an area where it’s not safe, especially as a female. Any club recommendations? i was looking into latigazo2k by gaston ave. I’m not familiar at all with Dallas so any input would help! thank you!!
Hopefully this is okay for me to post here!
I realize this is extremely unlikely but looking to find someone who is selling a ticket to this game for face value, either cat 3 or 4.
Spain is my favorite team and I’ve been keeping my eye on tickets for this game since it seemed likely they’d be playing this one but resale is still $$$ obviously 😪. I’m on a tight budget but it would be a dream to see them play especially so close to me (I live in Austin). Help a gal out! 🙏🏻
Hi everyone!
I’m attending a match on Monday and was wondering if anyone had any advice when attending a match at AT&T stadium? How early did you leave? Are there anything’s to check out in the stadium beforehand? Do you get any freebies when you attend the match? And if so where would you find them? Any and all advice/recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thank you!
I am a huge England supporter and i’m looking for a Fan Fest ticket in Dallas.
I know it’s a long shot, but I figured I’d at least try. Does anyone know where I can find the famous green Mexico soccer jersey anywhere in DFW? Everywhere I’ve checked has been sold out, and I’m trying to get one before Sunday’s game.
:( I should’ve bought one weeks ago
UPDATE: The Adidas store at the Grand Prairie Outlets has a ton of Mexico jerseys and restocks them multiple times a day. I’m not sure how long they’ll stay in stock before selling out, but I was able to snag one in my size.
Been thinking about getting out of my current state does anyone have tips on moving to Dallas? What's the nightlife like?
I’m exploring the possibility of relocating to Dallas and I’m trying to understand the best strategy for finding a job there.
I’m currently a Principal Software Engineer at ABN AMRO in the Netherlands. Here, the job market is extremely active — I receive 10+ recruiter messages per week without applying to anything.
I’m trying to understand how that compares to the Dallas market. A few specific questions for people familiar with Dallas tech hiring:
Is the recruiter outreach in Dallas similarly aggressive, or is the job:developer ratio more balanced?
Do senior engineers typically need to actively apply, or do recruiters reach out frequently?
How do companies view candidates with 20+ years of experience but no bachelor’s degree?
Is relocation from Europe a meaningful disadvantage in the Dallas market?
Are Principal‑level roles common, or is the market mostly Senior/Lead positions?
My tech stack is current: cloud‑native architecture, Kubernetes, GitOps, Azure, .NET, distributed systems, platform engineering, etc.LinkedIn for context:

I’d appreciate any realistic insight from people hiring or working in Dallas.
Not looking for sugarcoating — just trying to understand whether this move is viable and what strategy works best.
My name is Ana, at Camping TV, we're producing a series of 15-second ads aimed at Texas small business owners, and we want to make sure they feel genuinely Texan rather than an outsider's idea of Texas.
Would any of you like to watch our first edit (15 seconds!) and judge it? It takes about 2 minutes, and we'd share the video via a private link. We'd be truly grateful for any help!
Warm regards,

Hello locals! We are headed to Dallas (Grapevine technically) for 6 days hanging out with some friends who live there, they have only been there for a year and have kids so they don’t make it out much. We have 2 kids ages 4 & 5. Any good ideas for us to do? We like breweries a lot, so any good brewery recommendations that’s also good for young kids to run around and be toddler boys at? Any good restaurants that are must eat? Any good parks worth checking out? Just shoot any good recommendations you have that will be fun for the boys but also adults.
I’ll be in Dallas for a few days and want to visit one or two great local wine stores.
I’m interested in Bordeaux, Barolo/Brunello, Super Tuscans, Rhone, Burgundy, Champagne, and napa. Ideally shops with deep selection, knowledgeable staff, fair pricing, and maybe some mature/back-vintage or closeout bottles.
I already have Pogo’s and Eataly Vino on my list. Are those the right priorities, or are there other Dallas-area shops I should not miss?
Also happy to hear which stores are best for:
serious collector bottles
Italian wine
mature Bordeaux / Rhone/ Burgundy
best values or hidden gems
