Downtime, bastion rules and capitalist endeavours: how do you guys do it?

My table is closing in on refurbishing Trollskull Manor and setting up the first floor within Ches 20. Alexandrian has a pretty simple guide on how to run the business - which is fine for the initial and recurring costs part of it.

I'm curious as to what you guys do to run the business. Plus, how's your manor looking? Do you have a HQ situation, installing bells and whistles (re: bastion), included any perks/functions to your manor and the like.

For the time being, my players are looking into setting up a casino (Renaer offered) and gentlemen's club (Floon offered) on the second floor. There's also a bit of an opportunity with including a player's backstory as an entertainer to have their backstory NPCs come in and do live performances too.

NOC codes are confusing - how do you pick the right one?

I work as an auditor - though I can't call myself one without the CPA licence (WIP). BUT, NOC 11100 states progress toward this NOC is possible through training. Almost as if it would work in my favour.

My boss agrees, NOC 11100 best describes my duties. Yet, I'm scared IRCC or the province will catch me on a technicality of not having the CPA designation, refuse my application and give me no recourse soon enough for the next draws.

My office has previously sponsored bookkeepers (12200 btw) and that was easy since there are no licensing requirements to be one. But they've never sponsored anyone in the audit department before, ergo my fears.

So, what's the good way to do this? How do I leave nothing to interpretation? Am I allowed to highlight the specific section in the NOC page that states I can be in this line of work with just training and ask them to waive their concerns for the lack of a licence?

Driving Do's and Don'ts for a foreigner visiting the city (again!)

Loved being here in the winter, can't wait to be back in a few weeks! Thinking of renting a car and driving outside the city - and maybe inside as well (albeit I'm quite fine and appreciative of the subway and trains).

I'd like to keep the streets safe while I drive about; folks, what would you like me to know about driving inside and outside your city?

Do's, don'ts, FYIs, advice, tips, tricks and so on. Thanks, and I can't wait to live amongst you lot again ~
