Television Fakemon (and Mega Evolution) Based on Vintage TVs and Mind Control for My Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here is a new species for my fakemon region, which is based on the Southwestern United States! Though not all designs will be Wild-West-coded, and a few fakemon lines may also be based on different objects as well.

This fakemon line is based on/inspired by Vintage Television Sets, Broadcasts, Mind Control, with some inspiration from Vox from the “Hazbin Hotel” Series.

Please let me know what you guys think, and I hope you all enjoy them! ^^

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hypnotelly - The Broadcast Pokémon: (Electric / Psychic Type)

Etymology: (Hypnosis + Telly [an informal word for a television])

Researchers theorize that Hypnotelly was born when an unknown Electric-type Pokémon entered an abandoned CRT television set and gradually fused with it. They communicate by rapidly displaying images, sounds, and symbols across their screens. By combining electromagnetic waves with their Psychic powers, Hypnotelly can place viewers into a trance and make them more susceptible to suggestion. However, their damaged antennae make maintaining this state difficult for long periods.

Ability:

  1. Subliminal Cue - Whenever this Pokémon successfully damages a target with a Psychic-type move, that target has a 30% chance to become confused. Psychic-type moves that already have a chance to cause confusion do not receive an additional confusion check.

Hidden Ability:

  1. Levitate

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mega Hypnotelly - The Broadcast Pokémon: (Electric / Psychic Type)

The energy of Mega Evolution has dramatically amplified Hypnotelly's Psychic powers and excitement, neither of which its small television body can fully contain. Its once-damaged antennae have been completely restored, allowing it to broadcast hypnotic signals with far greater strength and maintain control over entranced viewers for extended periods. Excess electrical energy spills from its body, while its cables and cords have elongated and twisted together into a towering, quadruped-like mass that it uses as limbs.

Mega Hypnotelly becomes almost uncontrollably excited when it gains an audience, hijacking broadcast stations and electronic displays so that its distorted face can appear across every screen within range.

Ability:

  1. Mass Suggestion - Upon entering battle, all opposing Pokémon become confused.

Drunken Monkey Line (and MEGA EVOLUTION) Based on Oni, Fermented Berries, and Primates for My Western-Inspired Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here is a brand-new Fakemon Line for my fakemon region, which is based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West and other regional elements!

This Fakemon line is based on or inspired by the Drunken Monkey Hypothesis, Various Species of Primates, Fermented Fruits, and Oni! The Mega Evolution is inspired by Shuten-dōji, a legendary yōkai and leader of the oni in Japanese mythology.

I'd love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you enjoy them! This is easily another one of my favorite fakemon lines!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tipskey - The Sloshed Monkey Pokémon: (Poison Type)

Etymology: (Tipsy + Monkey)

Tipskey's main diet consists of naturally fermented, but toxic berries, which most other Pokémon instinctively avoid. Their bodies have developed a strong resistance to the berries' poison, but consuming them in large quantities leaves them dizzy, poorly coordinated, and prone to stumbling into anything nearby. Although their movements appear clumsy and random, their unpredictability makes their attacks surprisingly difficult to anticipate in battle.

Tipskey spend much of their time sleeping, eating, and gathering berries for their troop, but will suddenly become loud and agitated if someone approaches their food or tries to take it away.

Abilities:

  1. Hustle
  2. Tangled Feet

Hidden Ability:

  1. Unaware

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Babooze - The Sloshed Monkey Pokémon: (Poison / Fighting Type)

Etymology: (Baboon + Booze)

Babooze carry enormous hard-shelled berries filled with naturally fermented juice, which they periodically bite into or squeeze when they want to drink from it. They also use these berries as makeshift weapons, swinging them at opponents with surprising force.

Babooze often lead groups of Tipskey on raids against neighboring Pokémon territories and human settlements, stealing far more than their troop immediately needs. Those that return with the largest haul gain greater status within the troop, and particularly successful Babooze may be recognized by the troop’s reigning Babrewgre.

Abilities:

  1. Anger Point
  2. Tangled Feet

Hidden Ability:

  1. Moxie

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Babrewgre - The Ogre Monkey Pokémon: (Poison / Fighting Type)

Etymology: (Baboon + Brew + Ogre)

Babrewgre rarely participates in raids. Instead, they command the troop from makeshift camps hidden deep within secluded forests or caves, surrounding themselves with stolen food and other valuables. When forced to fight, they display astonishing physical strength, wielding enormous, hardened berries as crude clubs, squeezing and drinking the highly concentrated fermented juice stored inside them between battles.

Only one Babrewgre is permitted to rule each troop at a time. When a Babooze evolves, it earns the right to challenge the reigning Babrewgre in a vicious duel for leadership, and the loser is permanently driven from the troop.

Abilities:

  1. Anger Point
  2. Tangled Feet

Hidden Ability:

  1. Moxie

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mega Babrewgre - The Ogre Monkey Pokémon: (Poison / Dark Type)

Mega Evolution causes Babrewgre’s body to become even larger and more imposing. Its fermented berry club swells to enormous proportions, and the juice within becomes potent enough to send it into a violent frenzy.

In this state, Mega Babrewgre becomes far more aggressive and may attack friend and foe alike if they come too close. Even other members of its troop know to keep their distance, while still recognizing it as the unquestioned ruler while it remains Mega Evolved.

Ability:

  1. Supreme Overlord

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Signature Move:

Berry Brooze

[Poison | Physical | 90 power | 100% Accuracy | 10 pp]

>The user slams its hardened berry club into the target. This may leave the target confused.

Pseudo-Legendary Line Based on Gila Monsters, Radioactivity, and Kaiju for My Western-Inspired Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here is the Pseudo-Legendary Fakemon Line for my fakemon region, which is based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West and other regional elements!

This fakemon line is based on or inspired by Gila Monsters, Nuclear Radiation & Fallout, and Kaiju (Godzilla)!

I'd love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you enjoy them! This is easily another one of my favorite fakemon lines!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gilatox - The Toxic Lizard Pokémon: (Dragon / Poison Type)

[Pronounced HEE-luh-TOCKS]

Etymology: (Gila + Tox)

Gilatox thrive in arid deserts and areas with unusually high levels of radioactivity, including abandoned weapons-testing grounds and disaster sites. Though they are not especially intelligent, they store potent poison within their lower jaws, which begin to glow brightly whenever too much toxin builds up. Their saliva is highly corrosive and can burn through solid metal, sometimes causing small accidents when they drool on machinery or other objects.

Ability:

  1. Poison Touch or Reactor Core - When hit by a Poison-type move, the user absorbs the attack instead of taking damage, and its Sp. Atk rises by one stage.

Hidden Ability:

  1. Corrosion

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gilazard - The Hazardous Pokémon: (Dragon / Poison Type)

[Pronounced HEE-laz-urd]

Etymology: (Gila + Lizard + Hazard)

Prolonged exposure to radiation has caused Gilazard’s body to mutate, and its internal organs now function much like a living nuclear reactor. Highly toxic gases constantly seep out from its poison glands, forming a dense cloud that grows thicker whenever it becomes agitated. The markings along its belly and tail pulse in response to nearby radiation, allowing them to function much like a Geiger counter. Researchers believe that Gilazard grows stronger when further exposed to radiation, though this often makes its behavior unstable and can send it into destructive rampages.

Ability:

  1. Reactor Core - When hit by a Poison-type move, the user absorbs the attack instead of taking damage, and its Sp. Atk rises by one stage.

Hidden Ability:

  1. Corrosion

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gilazilla - The Radioactive Pokémon: (Dragon / Poison Type)

[Pronounced HEE-luh-ZIL-uh]

Etymology: (Gila + Godzilla)

Gilazilla stores and builds large amounts of radioactive energy within its body, while the vents on its chest release toxic heat and smoke whenever this energy increases beyond safe levels. When enraged, it can enter devastating rampages, crushing obstacles in its path and contaminating the surrounding area with poisonous fallout. At maximum output, Gilazilla can unleash a concentrated beam of radioactive energy powerful enough to carve through entire mountains.

Its fearsome appearance and destructive power have made it a popular subject of monster films, where it has been portrayed as anything from a rampaging monster to a defender of the world.

Ability:

  1. Reactor Core - When hit by a Poison-type move, the user absorbs the attack instead of taking damage, and its Sp. Atk rises by one stage.

Hidden Ability:

  1. Corrosion

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Signature Move:

Radiation Blast (Might Change the Name)

[Poison | Special | 130 power | 90% Accuracy | 5 pp]

>The user fires a beam of radioactive energy towards the target. The move has a 30% chance of afflicting a burn or poison, chosen randomly. The strain of this attack lowers the user's special attack by 2 stages.

Regional Swablu Line (and MEGA EVOLUTION) based on Storm Clouds and Thunderbirds for My Western-Inspired Fakemon Region!

This fakemon line and art was commissioned from Pokedan_art on Instagram.

Here is a brand-new regional variant of the Swablu line for my fakemon region, which is based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West and other regional elements!

This Regional Variant and Fakemon Line is based on or inspired by Storm Clouds, Thunderstorms, and urban legends of the (Tombstone) Thunderbird!

I'd love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you enjoy them! This is easily another one of my favorite fakemon lines!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wesonian Swablu - The Storm Cloud Pokémon: (Electric / Flying Type)

After generations of enduring the Weson Region’s violent storms, Swablu developed the Electric type and dark, electrically charged plumage. Its thick, cloudlike feathers gather and store static electricity, causing it to become restless wherever thunderclouds form. When it sees someone approaches its nesting grounds, it dives toward them and releases the stored energy in sharp bursts.

Abilities:

  1. Static

Hidden Ability:

  1. Wind Power

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wesonian Altaria - The Thunderbird Pokémon: (Electric / Dragon Type)

Wesonian Altaria build their nests within the darkest clouds that gather above the region’s highest mountains. They fiercely defend these territories, releasing piercing shrieks and flashes of lightning whenever other Pokémon or Trainers draw too close. Their dense plumage stores immense electrical power, which they discharge toward targets from high above.

Abilities:

  1. Levitate

Hidden Ability:

  1. Wind Power

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mega Wesonian Altaria - The Thunderbird Pokémon: (Electric / Dragon Type)

The energy of Mega Evolution causes the storm clouds surrounding this Pokémon to expand and grants it the power to summon lightning storms at will. Its cries echo across the mountains like rolling thunder, and the tempests it creates can persist long after it has departed.

An old eyewitness account describes an enormous birdlike silhouette appearing behind flashes of lightning within the clouds. Some researchers believe the creature in this story may have been a Mega-Evolved Wesonian Altaria.

Ability:

  1. Drizzle

Perfume Skunk Line Based on Fragrances and High-Class Ladies for My Western-Inspired Fakemon Region!

This fakemon line and art was commissioned from Pokedan_art on Instagram.

Here is a brand-new skunk line for my fakemon region, which is based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West and other regional elements!

This fakemon line is based on or inspired by Skunks, Perfumes & Fragrances, Spoiled & Bratty Rich Kids, and High-Class Ladies!

I'd love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! This is easily another one of my favorite fakemon lines!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Piufume - The Fussy Skunk Pokémon: (Poison Type)

Etymology: (Piu-Piu + Perfume)

Piufume were introduced to the Weson Region by settlers from distant regions, where they were once prized as fashionable companion Pokemon. They are notoriously finicky and stamp their paws before releasing uncontrolled clouds of spray whenever inconvenienced. The chemical makeup of the oils produced by their scent glands changes according to their diet, allowing well-fed individuals to produce sweet or floral aromas. Those that consume spoiled food can accidentally make an entire room uninhabitable within seconds.

Abilities:

  1. Stench
  2. Cute Charm

Hidden Ability:

  1. Aroma Veil

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aromadame - The Fragrance Pokémon: (Poison / Fairy Type)

[Pronounced uh-ROH-mah-DAHM

Etymology: (Aroma + Madame)

Aromadame can shift instantly between releasing delicate perfumes and nauseating clouds of toxic vapor. It releases pleasant aromas to charm others or calm aggression, but its fragrance turns rancid and irritating when threatened or displeased. Perfumers across the world prize Aromadame for the complex oils and scents stored within its fur, many of which are nearly impossible to reproduce artificially. Vain and exceedingly particular, it carries itself with great poise and often ignores people and Pokémon it considers beneath its standards.

Abilities:

  1. Lingering Aroma
  2. Cute Charm

Hidden Ability:

  1. Aroma Veil

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Signature Move:

Amorous Vapor

[Fairy | Special | 80 power | 100% accuracy | 10 pp]

>The user attacks the target with a cloud of fragrant vapor. If the target is of the opposite gender, they become infatuated.

^(I might change the name of the move, so any suggestions are appreciated ^^)

Early Forest Bug Line Based on Flies, Beelzebub (Lord of the Flies), and Villainous Behavior for My Western Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here is my second Regional Bug line for my fakemon region, which is based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West and other regional elements!

This fakemon line is inspired by flies, Beelzebub (the Lord of the Flies), insect swarms, gluttony, villainous behavior, and domineering leaders.

Since Bug-types are often considered one of the weaker offensive types in Pokemon, I wanted to give them a little more love. This evolution line was actually designed alongside an entirely new Bug-type weather condition that helps Bug Pokemon carve out their own niche.

I would appreciate some feedback on my new Bug-Type Weather condition to see what works well and to avoid making it too overpowered!

Please let me know what you guys think of this evolution line! I would love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do! ^^

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pitifly - The Fly Pokémon: (Bug Type)

Etymology: (Pitiful + Fly)

Pitifly can be found in nearly every outdoor habitat across the Weson Region. Although weak on their own, they become a persistent nuisance when gathered in large swarms, relentlessly buzzing around Trainers and Pokémon alike. Unable to hunt effectively by themselves, they survive by feeding on discarded scraps and whatever remains after their commanding Beelbuzz finishes a meal.

Abilities:

  1. Compound Eyes
  2. Gluttony

Hidden Ability:

  1. Swarm

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Beelbuzz - The Fly Lord Pokémon: (Bug / Dark Type)

Etymology: (Beelzebub + Buzz)

Beelbuzz's abdomen expands drastically upon evolving, becoming too heavy for its frail legs to support. Instead, it hovers above the ground, commanding swarms of Pitifly to gather food and wear down larger prey. Once a meal has been secured, it devours nearly everything for itself, leaving only small scraps for the Pitifly that served it to fight over. Any Pitifly that fails or disappoints Beelbuzz is attacked and permanently cast out of the swarm.

Abilities:

  1. Compound Eyes
  2. Gluttony

Hidden Ability (Signature Ability):

  1. Lord of the Flies: Upon entering battle, the user summons a horde of insects, creating Horde for five turns. At the end of each turn while Horde is active, the user restores 1/16 of their maximum HP.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A New Move for my Region:

Swarmageddon

[Bug | Special | 130 power | 90% accuracy | 5 pp]

The user commands a swarm of grub-like creatures to overwhelm the target. The strain of this attack harshly lowers the user’s Special Attack stat.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A New Weather Condition:

Horde

A horde of ravenous insects descends upon the battlefield!

Duration: 5 Turns

  • 8 turns if the Pokemon that created Horde is holding its dedicated weather-extending item.

Effects:

  • Non-Bug-type (and maybe non-Poison-type) Pokemon lose 1/16 of their maximum HP at the end of each turn.

  • The likelihood of additional effects occurring from Bug-type moves is doubled. This effect does not stack with Serene Grace.

    • Examples:
      • Bug Buzz: 10% Sp. Def drop --> 20%
      • Twineedle: 20% Poison chance --> 40%
      • Steamroller: 30% Flinch Chance --> 60%
      • Silver Wind: 10% increase to all stats --> 20%
  • Halves the power of Solar Beam and Solar Blade.

  • Changes Weather Ball to a Bug-Type move and doubles its power.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A New Weather-Setting Move:

Brood Call

[Bug | Status | 10 pp}

The user releases a strange pheromone or signal that attracts countless insects to the battlefield, creating Horde for five turns.

Generic Weather-Setting Ability:

Pheromones

Upon entering battle, the user releases strange pheromones that attract countless insects to the battlefield, creating Horde for 5 turns.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EDIT #1 (07/27/2026): After receiving some feedback, I went ahead and changed the previous effects to make this weather condition more unique and stand out from the others, instead of just blending them all together. I think this version works a lot better.

Pika-Clone Line Based on Jackalopes, Fearsome Critter Folklore, and Trail Camera Imagery for My Western Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here is the Pika Clone (aka, Electric Rodent) for my Western Fakemon Region!

This fakemon line is inspired by rabbits, jackalope folklore, fearsome critter legends & tall tales, and the eerie look of trail camera photography.

Although Pika Clones are traditionally based on rodents, I already have an early-route rodent based on Pack Rats and am considering a regional variant of the Rattata line. Because of that, I wanted my region's electric type mascot to stand apart while still capturing that familiar "electric critter" feel. I felt that Jackalopes ended up being a perfect fit.

Please let me know what you guys think of this evolution line! I would love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do! ^^

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Biribi - The Rabbit Pokémon: (Electric / Fairy Type)

Etymology: (Biri-Biri [Japanese onomatopoeia for electric shock] + Chibi [Japanese word for ‘small’, ‘tiny’, ‘short’])

Biribi had only recently been discovered; its existence had been widely debated for generations, with most sightings dismissed as nothing more than local legends. It stores static electricity within its cheek pouches before channeling it through its tiny horn buds, though the shocks it produces are still relatively weak. When discovered, it remains perfectly motionless, staring back with an eerie, blank expression. If its observer makes even the slightest sudden movement, it releases a burst of electricity before zigzagging through the forest at incredible speeds, leaving behind scorched leaves and bark as the only proof it was ever there.

Abilities:

  1. Static
  2. Lightning Rod

Hidden Ability:

  1. Run Away

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Birisagi - The Jackalope Pokémon: (Electric / Fairy Type)

Etymology: (Biri-Biri [Japanese onomatopoeia for electric shock] + Usagi [Japanese word for 'rabbit'] OR Nousagi [Japanese word for 'hare' or 'wild rabbit'])

Birisagi are very rarely seen in the wild, making their homes deep within the region's forests. Their fully developed antlers channel the electricity stored in their cheek pouches, allowing them to deliver devastating electric blows by ramming into their opponents. Their existence had been widely debated for generations until a trainer's trail camera captured the silhouette of one silently watching from atop a tree, prompting an expedition that finally confirmed the species. Much faster than Biribi, they vanish in blinding flashes and race through the forest in erratic bursts of speed, gathering static electricity within their bushy tails as they run.

Abilities:

  1. Static
  2. Lightning Rod

Hidden Ability:

  1. Speed Boost

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Move for my Region:

Bolt Dash

[Electric | Physical | 40 power | 100% Accuracy | 30 pp]

The user cloaks itself in electricity and charges at the target with incredible speed. This move always goes first.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Move for my Region (Maybe the Signature Move for Biribi & Birisagi?):

Antler Charge

[Electric | Physical | 80 power | 100% Accuracy | 15 pp]

The user channels electricity through its forked antlers and rams the target. This move deals 1.5× more damage to a paralyzed target.

Route 1 Rodent Line Based on Pack Rats and Traveling Merchants for My Western Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here is the Early Route Rodent (aka, the "Route 1 Rodent") for my fakemon region, which is based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West and other regional elements!

This fakemon line is inspired by Pack Rats and their collecting behaviors, with additional influences from Traders, Traveling Merchants, and a touch of kleptomania!

Please let me know what you guys think of this evolution line! I would love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do! ^^

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pakrat - The Collector Pokémon: (Normal Type)

Etymology: (Pack Rat)

Pakrat thrive in a variety of environments and build their nests from anything they can get their paws on. They have a particular interest in shiny objects, and Trainers have reported incidents of Pakrat stealing items before quickly running off with them. Pakrat frequently trade their collections with one another, sometimes exchanging rare valuables for objects that catch their interest. They try to store their favorite possessions inside their large cheek pouches until they reach their nests or find a safer place to hide them.

Abilities:

  1. Pickup
  2. Cheek Pouch

Hidden Ability:

  1. Quick Feet

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Merodent - The Merchant Pokémon: (Normal Type)

Etymology: (Merchant + Rodent)

Merodent make their nests inside hollow cacti, which they carry on their backs using long vines as makeshift straps. They can travel great distances with their collections in tow, frequently trading objects with other Pokémon and trainers they encounter along the way. Many trainers seek out Merodent because of their remarkable talent for finding rare and unusual items, though they can be very stubborn negotiators. A Merodent will sometimes carry the same treasured object for years, refusing every offer for it until it finds something of equivalent value.

Abilities:

  1. Pickup
  2. Cheek Pouch

Hidden Ability:

  1. Quick Feet

Route 1 Bug Line Based on Spiders and Knitting for My Western Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here is (one of) the Route 1 Bug line for my fakemon region, which is based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West and other regional elements!

This fakemon line is inspired by Spiders, Knitting/Weaving, Grandmothers, and Arachne from Greek Mythology.

Please let me know what you guys think of this evolution line! I would love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do! ^^

^(Also, if you guys have any suggestions for signature moves for this line, please share your thoughts with me! I’d love to hear them!)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yarnid - The Silk Bundle Pokémon: (Bug Type)

Etymology: (Yarn + Arachnid)

Yarnid spend the first few months of their lives tucked safely inside the massive silk bundle carried by Arachma. Once they are able to properly roll their own silk into a bundle, they leave and begin dragging it around as both protection and weaving practice. Their durable silk is prized throughout the region for fashion, textiles, and many other purposes. Researchers believe Yarnid are closely related to Tarountula, though Yarnid use their silk for crafting and weaving rather than simply wrapping it around their bodies.

Abilities:

  1. Swarm
  2. Unnerve

Hidden Ability:

  1. Tangling Hair

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shyder - The Silk Bundle Pokémon: (Bug Type)

Etymology: (Shy + Spider)

Shyder weave their silk into oversized coats, which they use to hide from predators and unfamiliar Pokémon. Though more skilled than Yarnid, their stitching is still uneven, and they often sulk when older members of the colony chastise or correct their work. Shy by nature, they rarely show their full bodies, preferring to peek out from beneath their silk coverings. Only female Shyder that sufficiently refine their knitting and weaving may eventually evolve into Arachma.

Abilities:

  1. Swarm
  2. Unnerve

Hidden Ability:

  1. Tangling Hair

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arachma - The Weaving Pokémon: (Bug / Fairy Type)

Etymology: (Arachne + Grandma)

Old stories claim that Arachma taught humans how to knit and weave over 2,000 years ago. Despite carrying young Yarnid safely within its massive silk bundle, Arachma is famously ornery and impatient, often scolding younger Pokémon and humans for their sloppy handiwork. It takes great pride in its craft, angrily tearing apart any piece it considers poorly made and relentlessly pursuing anyone who damages its own work. The silk it produces is far stronger than that of its pre-evolutions, and garments made from it are treasured for their durability and delicate texture.

Abilities:

  1. Swarm
  2. Unnerve

Hidden Ability:

  1. Tangling Hair

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Move for my Region (Maybe the Signature Move for Shyder & Arachma?):

Stitch Up

[Bug | Status | 10 pp]

The user repairs itself with reinforced silk, restoring 25% of its max HP and raising its Defense by one stage.

Fan-Made Pokemon Evolution Line Based on the Chupacabra

Important: I commissioned pokedan_art on Instagram to help me with this fakemon line.

Greetings, everyone! I am working on my own fakemon (fan-made pokemon) region based on the Southwestern United States (mainly Arizona and the surrounding states/areas).

My region is mainly inspired by the Wild West era and other elements. I also absolutely love cryptids, aliens, fearsome critters, urban legends, and so on, and I thought that it would be okay for me to share this idea and fakemon line of mine with the r/cryptid community.

This evolution line is based on coyotes and the dog-like depictions of the Chupacabra commonly associated with the Southwestern United States. Its sickly appearance and Poison typing also draw inspiration from radioactive fallout and the effects of nuclear weapons testing in Nevada.

Please feel free to share your thoughts with me! I would love to hear what you guys think of this evolution line, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do! ^^

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Radyote - The Toxic Coyote Pokémon: (Dark / Poison Type)

Etymology: (Radiation + Coyote)

Old records suggest that Radyote was once a pure Dark-type Pokémon. Generations of exposure to radioactive fallout near abandoned weapons-testing grounds caused the species to develop patchy fur, glowing markings, and the Poison typing. Its mildly toxic saliva causes numbness around a bite, allowing Radyote to weaken struggling prey. Wary but curious, it prowls its territory at night and quickly retreats into narrow burrows when discovered.

Abilities:

  1. Run Away
  2. Poison Touch

Hidden Ability:

  1. Stakeout

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coyocabra - The Night Stalker Pokémon: (Dark / Poison Type)

Etymology: (Coyote + Chupacabra)

Toxic spines line Coyocabra’s head and upper back, while nearly all of its fur is shed upon evolution. It emerges only after nightfall, stalking livestock Pokémon by memorizing their scents and waiting near their resting places. Its highly toxic saliva numbs its prey’s muscles and prevents bite wounds from closing properly, leaving victims too weak to escape. Farmers who discover livestock drained of their vitality often find faintly glowing saliva around the wounds—a clear sign that a Coyocabra is nearby, though very few have ever seen one in person.

Abilities:

  1. Strong Jaw
  2. Poison Touch

Hidden Ability:

  1. Stakeout

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a more important note: I am actively looking for more cryptids to use as my fakemon region! I am also planning on making a DLC for my region themed around Cryptids and/or Urban Legends. If you guys have any suggestions and recommendations, please feel free to share them with me!

Coyote/Cryptid Evolution Line (Based on Coyotes, the Chupacabra, and Radioactive Fallout) for My Western Fakémon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here is the coyote fakemon line that acts as a sort of "rival" to my Route 1 Roadrunner Line, for my fakemon region, which is based on the Southwestern United States. My region is also inspired by the Wild West and other elements!

This fakemon line is inspired by Coyotes, Southwestern U.S. depictions of the Chupacabra, radioactive fallout (and a bit of historic nuclear weapons testing in Nevada)

^(I am sure you guys can easily figure out what the shinnies are a reference to, lol)

Please let me know what you guys think of this evolution line! I would love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do! ^^

EDIT: Changed the Basic Stage's name to Radyote.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Radyote - The Toxic Coyote Pokémon: (Dark / Poison Type)

Etymology: (Radiation + Coyote)

Old records suggest that Radyote was once a pure Dark-type Pokémon. Generations of exposure to radioactive fallout near abandoned weapons-testing grounds caused the species to develop patchy fur, glowing markings, and the Poison typing. Its mildly toxic saliva causes numbness around a bite, allowing Radyote to weaken struggling prey. Wary but curious, it prowls its territory at night and quickly retreats into narrow burrows when discovered.

Abilities:

  1. Run Away
  2. Poison Touch

Hidden Ability:

  1. Stakeout

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coyocabra - The Night Stalker Pokémon: (Dark / Poison Type)

Etymology: (Coyote + Chupacabra)

Toxic spines line Coyocabra’s head and upper back, while nearly all of its fur is shed upon evolution. It emerges only after nightfall, stalking livestock Pokémon and members of the Roadrift line by memorizing their scents and waiting near their resting places.

  1. Stakeout

Route 1 Bird Line Based on Roadrunners, Racers, and Biker Culture for My Western Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here is the Route 1 bird line for my fakemon region, which is based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West and other regional elements!

This fakemon line is inspired by roadrunners, racing, speedsters, biker culture, dust clouds and dust storms!

Please let me know what you guys think of this evolution line! I would love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do! ^^

^(Also, I am still on the fence regarding the final evolution's name, so if you guys have any more suggestions, please feel free to share them with me.)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quicklet - The Tiny Bird Pokémon: (Normal / Flying Type)

Etymology: (Quick + Chicklet)

Despite its Flying typing, Quicklet cannot remain airborne for more than a few seconds because of its tiny wings. Instead, it relies on its powerful legs to sprint at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour. The shell covering its head acts as a helmet, protecting it whenever it trips or crashes while learning to run. It often loses control when trying to make sharp turns at high speeds, sending it tumbling into nearby obstacles.

Abilities:

  1. Keen Eye
  2. Run Away

Hidden Ability:

  1. Speed Boost

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dusprint - The Road Racer Pokémon: (Normal / Flying Type)

Etymology: (Dust + Sprint)

Dusprint are far faster than Quicklet and can reach speeds of up to 55 miles per hour, using their wings and tails to remain balanced while sprinting. Translucent membranes cover their eyes, shielding them from dust and flying debris. They typically gather in groups called “crews,” racing along open trails under the leadership of an experienced Roadrift. Proud and overconfident, Dusprint challenge almost anything they encounter, kicking up extra dust to make their victories look more impressive but throwing noisy temper tantrums whenever they lose.

Abilities:

  1. Keen Eye
  2. Sand Veil

Hidden Ability:

  1. Speed Boost

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roadrift - The Road Warrior Pokémon: (Ground / Flying Type)

Etymology: (Roadrunner + Drift)

Roadrift lead crews of Quicklet and Dusprint and can sustain speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour while sprinting. In short bursts, they can accelerate to Mach 2, making them the fastest land-running bird Pokémon ever recorded. At high speeds, Roadrift kick up thick clouds of dust that linger briefly in their wake. Researchers believe the number of white patches on their wings increases with age and experience, and the Roadrift with the most patches usually leads the crew.

Abilities:

  1. Keen Eye
  2. Sand Veil

Hidden Ability:

  1. Speed Boost

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Move for my Region (Not a Signature Move):

Dust Dash

[Ground | Physical | 50 power | 100% Accuracy | 20 pp]

The user charges through the target while kicking up a cloud of dust. This also raises the user’s Speed stat by one stage.

Water Type Starter Line (Based on the California Gold Rush, Prospectors, Mining, etc.) for my Western Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here are the Redesigns of my Water Type Starter for my fakemon region based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West era, and other elements!

This fakemon line is based on Crabs, The California Gold Rush, Gold Nuggets, Prospectors, and Mining Tools and Techniques used in the past. It was also very loosely inspired by Mr. Krabs from the SpongeBob SquarePants series, which was filmed and/or produced in California many times.

Please let me know what you guys think of this starter! I would love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do! ^^

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Clawble - The Tiny Claw Pokémon: (Water Type)

Etymology: (Claw + Bubble)

Clawble plays in shallow streams and enjoys digging through riverbed sediment with its tiny claws in search of colorful pebbles. It produces unusually durable bubbles, and one will sometimes settle between its eyestalks like a dim little lamp. When Clawble finds something shiny, it proudly carries it around until another object catches its attention. If startled, it snaps its claws and releases a burst of bubbles before scuttling away.

Abilities:

  1. Torrent

Hidden Ability (Signature Ability):

  1. Gold Rush: The user’s Steel-Type moves do 50% more damage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Crustache - The Panning Pokémon: (Water Type)

Etymology: (Crustacean + Mustache + Cache + Stash)

Crustache scoops mud and gravel into its broad claw, then swirls water through the mixture to separate heavier stones and ore from the sediment. Upon evolving, it becomes so fascinated by gold that it may stare at a single nugget for hours, completely oblivious to its surroundings. Crustache stashes its favorite finds inside its broad claw and becomes unusually possessive whenever another Pokémon approaches its collection. Though still inexperienced, constant panning strengthens its claws and teaches it to distinguish true gold from worthless stone.

Abilities:

  1. Torrent

Hidden Ability (Signature Ability):

  1. Gold Rush: The user’s Steel-Type moves do 50% more damage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cruspector - The Prospector Pokémon: (Water / Ground Type)

Etymology: (Crustacean + Prospector)

Cruspector searches ore-rich riverbeds and caves, using its cannon-shaped claw to fire pressurized jets powerful enough to fracture solid stone. Repeated blasts from this Pokémon's cannon can hollow out entire mountainsides or trigger devastating collapses. Its other massive claw functions as both a shovel and sluice box, scooping up the resulting slurry and trapping dense minerals while mud and gravel wash away. Although it can identify many precious metals, Cruspector greedily keeps only gold for itself and fiercely attacks those who attempt to steal from its hoard.

Abilities:

  1. Torrent

Hidden Ability (Signature Ability):

  1. Gold Rush: The user’s Steel-Type moves do 50% more damage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Signature Move:

Hydraulic Blast

[Water | Special | 85 power | 100% Accuracy | 10 PP]

The user fires an intensely pressurized jet of water and sediment at the target. This lowers the target’s Special Defense by one stage.

Fire Type Starter Evolution Line for My Western Fakemon Region

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here is the Redesign of the Fire Type Starter that new trainers can select in my fakemon region based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West era and other elements!

This fakemon line is based on / draws inspiration from Snakes, Whip-Fighting, Fire Lassoing, and Outlaws/Bandits.

Let me know what you guys think! I hope you really enjoy this line ^^

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Snember - The Fire Snake Pokémon: (Fire Type)

Etymology: (Snake + Ember)

The flames above Snember’s eyes flicker and bend according to its mood. It enjoys spending hours basking on sun-warmed rocks in deserts and volcanic regions. The tip of its tail gives off a faint light that grows brighter as it nears evolution. When threatened, it rears up and flares its brow flames to make itself appear more intimidating.

Abilities:

  1. Blaze

Hidden Ability:

  1. Stakeout

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scorlash - The Whip Snake Pokémon: (Fire Type)

Etymology: (Scorch + Lash)

Upon evolving, Scorlash sheds the skin around its neck in uneven layers and wears the loose remains like a scarf. It slams its tail against the ground to ignite a whip-like flame, then cracks it through the air with remarkable precision. Scorlash often practices by striking desert rocks with its flaming whip, leaving scorch marks behind as it perfects its technique. Those struck by its fiery lash claim the burn lingers long after the battle has ended.

Abilities:

  1. Blaze

Hidden Ability:

  1. Stakeout

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hisstrike - The Outlaw Snake Pokémon: (Fire / Dark Type)

Etymology: (Hiss + Strike)

Near the end of Hisstrike’s tail, its scales split apart to reveal a controlled extension of fire, which it shapes into a lasso. It waits with cold patience for an opponent to make a mistake, then strikes with ruthless precision from beyond their reach. If its opponent attempts to flee, Hisstrike casts the blazing lasso extending from its tail around them and violently pulls them back into the fight. In the wild, Hisstrike often presides over dens of Snember and Scorlash, forming unruly groups that roam the badlands.

Abilities:

  1. Blaze

Hidden Ability:

  1. Stakeout

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Signature Move:

Fire Lasso

[Fire | Physical | 80 power | 100% Accuracy | 10 PP]

The user ensnares the target with a blazing lasso. The target can no longer switch out.

Grass Type Starter Evolution Line (REDESIGNED!!) for my Western U.S. Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art

Allow me to (re)introduce to you guys the Grass Type Starter Pokémon, for my fakemon region, the Weson Region!

I was dissatisfied with the older version that I posted almost a year ago, so I decided that it was time for a redesign and I am much happier with the result!

In case you don't already know, my fakemon region is based on the Southwestern United States (mainly Arizona and the surrounding states/areas), and it is also inspired by the Wild West Era (aka the American Frontier), and other elements!

The Grass Type Starter is based on Armadillos, Barrel Cacti, and Lawmen such as Deputies and Sheriffs.

I'd love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! ^^

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cactillo - The Armadillo Pokémon: (Grass Type)

Etymology: (Cactus + Armadillo)

Cactillo inhabit dry grasslands and open deserts, where they spend much of the day sunbathing among clusters of cacti. When threatened, they curl into tight balls, using the rounded thorns covering their shells to protect themselves from harm. Despite their prickly appearance, Cactillo are gentle, curious Pokémon and are fiercely loyal to their companions.

HP: 51
Attack: 58

Abilities:

  1. Overgrow

Hidden Ability:

  1. Iron Barbs or Skill Link

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deputillo - The Deputy Pokémon: (Grass Type)

Etymology: (Deputy + Armadillo)

Deputillo vigilantly patrols the boundaries of its territory, examining tracks and unfamiliar scents left in the sand. Its shell and forelimbs have grown heavier, giving it stronger defenses but making it slower as a result. It becomes visibly irritated whenever a quicker intruder escapes its pursuit and may spend hours following the trail afterward. When cornered, it tucks its limbs inward and rolls forward like a thorn-covered barrel.

HP: 72
Attack: 80
Defense: 91
Special Attack: 51
Special Defense: 66
Speed: 50

BST: 410

Abilities:

  1. Overgrow

Hidden Ability:

  1. Iron Barbs or Skill Link

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sheridillo - The Sheriff Pokémon: (Grass / Steel Type)

Etymology: (Sheriff + Armadillo)

Sheridillo patrols the arid deserts of the Weson Region, driving away intruders and troublemakers that threaten its territory or disturb nearby Pokémon. Its armored, cactus-like shell is reinforced with sharp thorns that protect it from most attacks. The barrel-shaped chambers on its forearms rotate as it fires hardened cactus spines with remarkable precision. Sheridillo is known to refuse the commands of selfish Trainers, but it fights fiercely beside those it considers fair and dependable.

HP: 93
Attack: 110
Defense: 122
Special Attack: 66
Special Defense: 81
Speed: 44

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Signature Move:

Needle Draw

[Grass | Physical | 20 Power per hit | 100% Accuracy | 10 PP]

The user rapidly fires cactus spines, striking the target four to six times. If the move reaches six hits, the final hit is always a critical hit.

Hit chances:

  • 40% for four hits = 80 power
  • 40% for five hits = 100 power
  • 20% for six hits = 120 power, with the final 20-power hit becoming a critical hit, bringing the total amount to 130 power

Vampire Bat (Electric) Fakemon Line for my Western-Inspired Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned for this line is @an_artist_astray.

This fakemon line is based on vampire bats and fictional vampires, such as Dracula.

However, instead of feeding on blood, I thought it would be more interesting to have them feed on electricity, giving the concept a unique twist. ^^

^(In regard to the shinies, in my defense, I thought it would be neat to have them reference fictional vampires, which is why the shinies turned out the way they did)

I also commissioned a split evolution for this line, but I'm saving that reveal for one of the DLCs planned for my Southwestern US-inspired fakemon region, the Weson Region. That DLC will focus on cryptids and aliens, which I am looking forward to working on in the future. ^^

I'd love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! This is easily one of my favorite fakemon lines.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Baterry - The EleBat Pokémon: (Dark / Electric Type)

Etymology: (Bat + Battery)

Baterry are small, nocturnal Pokémon that survive by draining electricity through their fangs. At night, they quietly land on Electric-type Pokémon, bite into them, and siphon their charge before flying away. Their victims are often left sluggish and unable to produce electricity for a while, while Baterry themselves burn through stored energy quickly after strenuous activity, such as battling. Colonies frequently nest in power plants, substations, and along power lines, where their feeding can cause blackouts in nearby towns.

HP: 45
Attack: 55
Defense: 40
Special Attack: 55
Special Defense: 40
Speed: 65

BST: 300

Abilities:

  1. Volt Absorb
  2. Infiltrator

Hidden Ability:

  1. Vampirism: The Pokémon’s draining moves restore additional HP equal to 25% of the damage dealt.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nosvolatu - The Vampire Pokémon: (Dark / Electric Type)

Etymology: (Nosferatu + Volt)

Nosvolatu establish their lairs deep within power plants and abandoned electrical facilities, where they feed on and hoard vast amounts of electricity for their colonies. They almost never leave their lairs, instead directing groups of Baterry to locate power sources, gather charge, and drive away intruders. Exceptionally cunning, Nosvolatu can manipulate electrical systems to plunge entire buildings into darkness before striking with precise bursts of energy. When their feeding grounds are threatened, they command their Baterry colonies to overwhelm intruders and only emerge to fight once their followers have been defeated.

HP: 75
Attack: 70
Defense: 65
Special Attack: 115
Special Defense: 85
Speed: 100

BST: 510

Abilities:

  1. Volt Absorb
  2. Infiltrator

Hidden Ability:

  1. Vampirism: The Pokémon’s draining moves restore additional HP equal to 25% of the damage dealt.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Signature Move of the Baterry line:

Parasitic Drain

[Electric | Physical | 70 Power | 100% Accuracy | 15 pp]

The user bites into the target, siphoning their energy. This move restores 50% of the damage dealt and is super effective against Electric-Type Pokémon.

"Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" Fakemon Line for my Western-Inspired Fakemon Region

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is pokedan_art.

This fakemon line is based on Wolves, Sheep Dogs, the phrase "A wolf in sheep's clothing", and Werewolves! As you can see, they are also inspired by the Wooloo line. ^^

Important: They are NOT a convergent species of the Wooloo evolution line!!!

They are a completely separate species that disguise themselves as Wooloo and Dubwool to blend into their herds, only to drag one away in the dead of night and feed on it.

I'm really happy with how this line turned out! I'd love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fooloo - The False Sheep Pokémon: (Dark Type)

Etymology: ("Fooled You" + Wool + Wooloo)

Fooloo disguise themselves in thick fleece to pass as Wooloo, quietly joining herds on farms and open pastures. Farmers detest this Pokémon, as it preys on Wooloo and Dubwool under the cover of night. If one or more Pokémon vanish from a pasture by morning, they suspect that a Fooloo is hiding among the herd. Careful observers can identify them by their forward-facing eyes and sharp claws.

Ability:

  1. Infiltrator

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DubawooThe False Fleece Pokémon: (Dark Type)

Etymology: (Dubwool + Awooooooo [Howling noise that a wolf makes])

Fleece Form [Quadrupedal]

Dubawoo hides its lean body beneath a thick layer of wool. It blends in with herds of Dubwool, moving slowly through pastures to avoid drawing attention to itself. During the daytime, it pretends to graze while watching for isolated prey. Once night falls, it drags its target away from the rest of the herd to feed. Ranchers become suspicious when one of their “Dubwool” keeps its head too low to the ground and never seems to chew.

Hunt Form [Bipedal]

When its disguise is ruined, Dubawoo rises onto its hind legs, revealing the predator hidden beneath the fleece. The shredded wool clinging to its body forms a ragged hood and cloak. In this form, Dubawoo becomes much stronger and faster, allowing it to chase down prey with sudden bursts of speed. After preying on Dubwool, it uses leftover wool and horns to repair its disguise before slipping back into the herd unnoticed.

Signature Ability:

  1. Sheep's Clothing: When this Pokémon’s HP drops to half or less, it changes into Hunt Form, swapping its Defense and Special Defense with its Attack and Sp. Defense stats.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am still working on the stats for these Pokemon, but the main idea for Dubawoo is:

Fleece Form:

  • High Defense and Special Defense
  • Lower Attack and Speed

Hunt Form:

  • High Attack and Speed
  • Lower Defense and Special Defense

Desert Lizard (Split Evolution) Fakemon Line based on Cowboys and Outlaws for my Western-Inspired Fakemon Region! **REDESIGNED**

The Instagram artist that I commissioned for this fakemon line is pokedan_art.

**NEW AND IMPROVED**

After receiving some helpful feedback regarding one of the split evolutions, I decided to have it redesigned so that it feels more like a split evolution than as a final evolution. I hope you guys enjoy it ^^

This fakemon line is inspired by Whiptail Lizards (and a bit of Thorny Devils for the outlaw evolution), Cowboys/Wranglers, Lassos, Outlaws/Desperados, and Whips!

Let me know what you guys think of this fakemon line! I hope that you all enjoy it, this time!! ^^

(also, please ignore that weird thing that Thorado has going on with its left/right foot ^^')

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ariguana: The Lizard Pokémon: (Ground Type)

Etymology: (Arid + Iguana)

Ariguana lives in the arid deserts of the Weson Region, hiding among sunbaked rocks and shallow burrows. It is extremely skittish and will freeze in place if it hears footsteps nearby. When threatened, Ariguana lashes its long tail against the sand to kick up a thick cloud of dust, then darts away in uneven bursts.

Ability:

  1. Run Away

Hidden Ability:

  1. Sand Veil

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wranglisk: The Lasso Tail Pokémon: (Ground / Fighting Type)

Etymology: (Wrangler + Basilisk)

Wranglisk’s tail has grown into a strong, flexible loop that it casts like a lasso during battle. Though the tail remains attached to its body, Wranglisk can snap it outward several body lengths with surprising accuracy, catching opponents by the limbs or waist before pulling them off balance. Farmers and ranchers throughout the Weson Region value this Pokémon for its skills at rounding up livestock Pokémon, making it a common Pokemon to see working on farms and ranches.

Ability:

  1. Quick Draw

Hidden Ability:

  1. Long Reach

Signature Move:

Lasso Tail

[Fighting | Physical | 70 Power | 100% Accuracy | 10 pp]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thornigade: The Outlaw Pokémon: (Ground / Dark Type)

Etymology: (Thorn + Renegade)

Thornigade are unruly Pokémon that prowl the arid deserts of the Weson Region, ambushing unsuspecting Trainers and wild Pokémon alike. It can crack its tail through the air like a whip, striking foes with enough precision to leave painful lash marks. Unlike Wranglisk, Thornigade prefers dirty tactics, such as kicking up sand or feinting a retreat, then attacking from behind while its opponent is distracted.

Ability:

  1. Rough Skin

Hidden Ability:

  1. Long Reach

Signature Move:

Brutal Whip

[Dark | Physical | 90 Power | 100% Accuracy | 10 pp]

The user feints before whipping the target with its tail. This move has a 30% chance to make the target flinch.

Wild West Lizards (Split Evolution) Fakemon Line (based on Wild Western Cowboys & Outlaws) for my Western-Inspired Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned for this fakemon line is pokedan_art.

This fakemon line is based on different kinds of Lizards (Desert Iguanas, Basilisks, Thorny Devils, and the Texas Horned Lizard), Cowboys, Wranglers, Lassos, Outlaws/Desperados, and Whips!

It was also inspired by the Charcadet Evolution line, and I thought that it would be cool to have a fakemon line that went in a similar direction, for my Western-Inspired Fakemon Region.

Let me know what you guys think of this fakemon line! I hope that you all enjoy it!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Young Ariguana often experiment with many ways to use their tails, using them for balance, distraction, offense, and defense. The habits they develop while young may influence which form they evolve into.

Ability:

  1. Run Away

Hidden Ability:

  1. Sand Veil

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wranglisk: The Lasso Tail Pokémon: (Ground / Fighting Type)

Etymology: (Wrangler + Basilisk)

Wranglisk’s tail has grown into a strong, flexible loop that it casts like a lasso during battle. Though the tail remains attached to its body, Wranglisk can snap it outward several body lengths with surprising accuracy, catching opponents by the limbs or waist before pulling them off balance. When its tail is shed or broken, it does not abandon it, instead gripping the detached tail like a rope or whip until its new tail fully regrows. Farmers and ranchers throughout the Weson Region value this Pokémon for its skills at rounding up livestock Pokémon, making it a common Pokemon to see working on farms and ranches.

Ability:

  1. Intimidate

Hidden Ability:

  1. Long Reach

Signature Move:

Lasso Tail

[Fighting | Physical | 70 Power | 100% Accuracy | 10 pp]

The user casts out its looped tail around the opponent, dealing damage. This move also prevents the opponents from being switched out.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thorado: The Outlaw Pokémon: (Ground / Dark Type)

Etymology: (Thorn + Desperado)

Thorado’s tail is now covered in sharp barbs, which it moves with precise, prehensile control. These unruly Pokémon prowl the arid deserts of the Weson Region, ambushing unsuspecting Trainers and wild Pokémon to steal food and other items. It can crack its barbed tail through the air like a whip, striking foes with enough precision to leave painful lash marks that ache even after the battle is over. Unlike Wranglisk, Thorado prefers dirty tactics, kicking up sand, feinting a retreat, then attacking from the side while its opponent is distracted.

Ability:

  1. Rough Skin

Hidden Ability:

  1. Long Reach

Signature Move:

Thorn Lash

[Dark | Physical | 90 Power | 100% Accuracy | 10 pp]

The user feints before whipping the target with its barbed tail. This move has a 30% chance to make the target flinch.

Cryptid / Fearsome Critter Fakemon Line #1 - Axehandle Hound

The Fiverr artist that I commissioned for this fakemon line is Hikoku.

This fakemon line is based on the Axehandle Hound, puppies/dogs, hatchets, and axes.

I absolutely love cryptids and fearsome critters, and I plan to have more fakemon lines based off of them in my fakemon region based on the Southwestern United States (mainly Arizona and the other surrounding states/areas).

Let me know what you guys think of this fakemon line! I hope that you all enjoy it!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hatchup - The Puppy Pokémon: (Normal / Grass Type)

Etymology: (Hatchet + Puppy)

Hatchup are small canine Pokémon with oddly shaped, heavy muzzles. Before learning to control their snouts, they often charge headfirst into tree trunks and stumps, leaving deep incisions in the wood. They sharpen the edges of their muzzles on large river stones before wandering back into the forest. Lumberjacks dislike them because they sneak into camps at night and carry off any hatchets or axe handles left unattended.

Abilities:

  1. Pickup
  2. Rock Head

Hidden Ability:

  1. Sharpness

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Timbound- The Axehandle Pokémon: (Steel / Grass Type)

Etymology: (Timber + Hound)

After prolonged exposure to a well-worn axe, Hatchup evolves into Timbound, and its heavy muzzle hardens into a refined steel blade. Timbound run through forests before leaping headfirst into trees, striking with their axe-like snouts and howling loudly as they cut them down in a single clean blow. Though troublesome in the wild, lumberjacks sometimes partner with Timbound to guide their chopping instincts toward marked trees. With proper training, they become reliable partners for forestry work.

Abilities:

  1. Hyper Cutter
  2. Rock Head

Hidden Ability:

  1. Sharpness

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A New Move in my Fakemon Region:

Razor Slash

[Steel | Physical | 70 Power | 100% Accuracy | 20 pp]

The user slashes the opponent with a razor-sharp metallic edge. This move has a heightened chance of landing a critical hit. This move is affected by Sharpness.
