Upon mega evolving with a kangaskhanite, the shellder receives all of the mega energy, making it strong enough to not need the slowbro's energy, and able to leave without issues. The slowbro doesn't realize that the shellder detached, and continue to fight as if nothing happened.

I've been really enjoying seeing those wrong mega stone megas, so I decided to draw my own. It's based on the scrapped shellder split evo, with some cloyster elements.

Venodame rule their territory with calm, calculated cruelty. Rather than striking outright, they lull prey into a false sense of security before delivering venom with deliberate precision.

ABILITY: MALICIOUS MIASMA
When a poisoned or badly poisoned opposing Pokémon switches out, the Pokémon switching in becomes poisoned.

The first idea I had was to create a Shimo inspired fakemon (the white kaiju from Godzilla × Kong : New Empire) which I still plan to do when it comes to the female counterpart. The new inspiration then became how some Gen 5 pokemon are call backs to Gen 1 designs. These will be my versions of the Nidos , and the older Nidoking artwork in particular was a heavy influence. Always admire the kaiju designs of Gen 1 , plus I was reminded how good the first Pacific Rim movie was.

My top 5 Gen 1 designs in no particular order are :

Today we have fossil Pokemon based on the Mastodon! Fun fact: In 1980, a drilling rig accident on Jefferson Island in Louisiana exposed long-buried Ice Age skeletons. A mastodon tooth, jawbone, and a tusk measuring nearly six feet long were discovered! In fact, a lot of Mastodon fossils were "accidentally" found all throughout Louisiana! And today I present to you, Mossprout(Grass/Rock)! This pokemon is believed to have roamed the swamps of the Lebeaux region, grazing on the swampy reeds, while also relying on photosynthesis during droughts to maintain energy. The grassy patches on it's back changes with the season, with bright green patches indicating a healthy Mossprout, while a darker, more brown patch indicating sickness. Upon evolution, Mossprout evolves into Mossadon(Grass/Rock). This colossal pokemon hardly ever leaves it's nesting grounds, as it has all that it will ever need. Food, shelter, potential mates. In fact, it hardly moves at all, which allows it's mossy hide to grow all over its body in a symbiotic way. It provides warmth and protection, while also able to gather sunlight without obstruction. Pretty straightforward, from a bubbly cauldron to the goop overflowing into a monster. It's said that the brew inside a Potling is usually highly poisonous, but those who it trusts can drink from it safely (instead acting as a health tonic)

Typing-wise Potling is Poison/Steel (can learn Scald to deal with ground/fire types), but I'm not sure whether to stick with that for Cauldra or use Poison/Dragon instead.

Signature move: Wicked Potion (Poison, special)

Can be used to target either the opponent or an ally. When used against an opponent, it deals damage and could cause Poison. When used on an ally, it heals them instead. Think Pollen Puff, but with possble Poison status

Its name is Gaialiberia, Dragon/rock. The god of balence and earth. It keeps the other 3 in check, and before the other 3 were created, it was sent by Arceus to defend the earth from a alien like creature

Hi guys! Some of you may have seen a few of our fakemon designs out here already, and if not, we're building a videogame with tons of mons.
Since your warming love for our creatures has given a boost to our morale, we were thinking to interact a bit more with you and maybe reward you in a way.
We're heading towards a free playtest later this year, and we wanted to know if any of you would like to have their design (only original artworks, nothing coming straight from pokemon, we don't wanna be sued!) inside our game, to see it take life in 3D, animations and attacks and whatever comes to mind!
There will be no money whatsoever in this, just a regular contest where the most appreciated wins.
If you like the idea, let me know in the comments, we'll see how to organize a contest somehow!
