kangaskhanite mega slowbro

Upon mega evolving with a kangaskhanite, the shellder receives all of the mega energy, making it strong enough to not need the slowbro's energy, and able to leave without issues. The slowbro doesn't realize that the shellder detached, and continue to fight as if nothing happened.

I've been really enjoying seeing those wrong mega stone megas, so I decided to draw my own. It's based on the scrapped shellder split evo, with some cloyster elements.

Oopsies, it seems I gave my Falinks an Alakazite!

Joining the recent StoneSwap trend of matching a Mega-Evolving Pokémon with a different Mega Stone. In this Mega form for Falinks, the bond between the brass and its troopers has transcended. Now, the 'sage' and its 'disciples' fight as one by using psychic power.

The Complete Iguava Line!!

My full Fire Starter line is finally here!!

You can probably tell I made some adjustments through this process loll fire starters are the most menacing out of the trio so I hope I portrayed that well!

Was Iguava your choice? Stay tuned for the Water Starter line!!

[OC] Choose your starter for the Mythos Region: Gracoon, Spyire, or Valequa. Who are you picking?

🌿 Gracoon (Grass): A raccoon trickster based on the Japanese tanuki. If you aren’t careful he will steal your belongings.

🔥 Spyire (Fire/Bug):A fire spider who thinks he's a spy but he's terrible at it. Also the first Bug type starter ever.

💧 Valequa (Water): A baby elephant who is based on a valet/inexperienced noblemen. He is calm and always eager to learn.

Female-only spider line!

Somewhat inspired by real life black widows. I thought it was a neat concept, what do y’all think? Dex entries + abilities below!
🕷️ 💀 💜

———

TOXETTE, The Toxic Tyke Pokemon:
Toxette appear harmless at first glance, but their playful curiosity often leaves foes weakened by venom. Many trainers underestimate them—only once.

ABILITY: INFILTRATOR
This Pokémon bypasses the opposing Pokémon’s barriers, allowing its moves to ignore the effects of Reflect, Light Screen, Safeguard, and Substitute.

———

VENODAME, The Malicious Madame Pokemon:
Venodame rule their territory with calm, calculated cruelty. Rather than striking outright, they lull prey into a false sense of security before delivering venom with deliberate precision.

ABILITY: MALICIOUS MIASMA
When a poisoned or badly poisoned opposing Pokémon switches out, the Pokémon switching in becomes poisoned.

Inspired by Gen 1 Kaiju Designs and Pacific Rim

(Top right , to bottom right , to then Left)

CRYOGNAW - The Munchkin Pokemon

--> Lv 22

CHILLMODO - The Frost Jaw Pokemon

--> When Given Ice Stone

ARTINAUT - The Hammerhead Pokemon

The first idea I had was to create a Shimo inspired fakemon (the white kaiju from Godzilla × Kong : New Empire) which I still plan to do when it comes to the female counterpart. The new inspiration then became how some Gen 5 pokemon are call backs to Gen 1 designs. These will be my versions of the Nidos , and the older Nidoking artwork in particular was a heavy influence. Always admire the kaiju designs of Gen 1 , plus I was reminded how good the first Pacific Rim movie was.

My top 5 Gen 1 designs in no particular order are :

  1. The Nidos

  2. Rhydon

  3. Kangaskan

  4. Mewtwo

  5. Venasuar

Mastodon inspired Fakemon for Louisiana based Fan Game

Today we have fossil Pokemon based on the Mastodon! Fun fact: In 1980, a drilling rig accident on Jefferson Island in Louisiana exposed long-buried Ice Age skeletons. A mastodon tooth, jawbone, and a tusk measuring nearly six feet long were discovered! In fact, a lot of Mastodon fossils were "accidentally" found all throughout Louisiana! And today I present to you, Mossprout(Grass/Rock)! This pokemon is believed to have roamed the swamps of the Lebeaux region, grazing on the swampy reeds, while also relying on photosynthesis during droughts to maintain energy. The grassy patches on it's back changes with the season, with bright green patches indicating a healthy Mossprout, while a darker, more brown patch indicating sickness. Upon evolution, Mossprout evolves into Mossadon(Grass/Rock). This colossal pokemon hardly ever leaves it's nesting grounds, as it has all that it will ever need. Food, shelter, potential mates. In fact, it hardly moves at all, which allows it's mossy hide to grow all over its body in a symbiotic way. It provides warmth and protection, while also able to gather sunlight without obstruction. Thank you to the talented u/Puzzleheaded-Dust403 for the amazing drawing! Would love to hear feedback on design and lore.

Double,double toil and trouble

Pretty straightforward, from a bubbly cauldron to the goop overflowing into a monster. It's said that the brew inside a Potling is usually highly poisonous, but those who it trusts can drink from it safely (instead acting as a health tonic)

Typing-wise Potling is Poison/Steel (can learn Scald to deal with ground/fire types), but I'm not sure whether to stick with that for Cauldra or use Poison/Dragon instead.

Signature move: Wicked Potion (Poison, special)

Can be used to target either the opponent or an ally. When used against an opponent, it deals damage and could cause Poison. When used on an ally, it heals them instead. Think Pollen Puff, but with possble Poison status

A Reminder and a Request Regarding AI-Generated Images

Hi r/fakemon - we hope you’re having a good 2026 so far! We have a couple of reminders as well as a few requests regarding AI-generated images and, most importantly, how they are reported.

First, to reiterate our policy:

AI-generated images of any kind are not allowed.

This includes, obviously, any image created entirely by typing a prompt into a large-language model, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and so on. It also includes any images created by asking any of these LLMs to redraw something that you drew or upscale something hand-drawn. If the final image output that is posted was created or modified by an LLM, then it is not allowed. You can read more about the policy in this post.

Second, regarding reporting any suspected AI-generated images, we ask the following:

If you think it's AI, report for Rule 3 and move on. Do not comment on the post or engage with the user. If you feel more detail is needed, message the mods.

There are several reasons that we are asking for this to be the norm for reporting any post going forward, but especially so for suspected AI-generated image posts, which we will go over below.

1. Sometimes, you are wrong.

On several occasions, the mod team has been able to determine with as much certainty as we can that a user who was accused of posting AI-generated Fakemon was not in fact using AI at all. We're talking speedpaints, pictures of layers, extensive posting history with consistent art, and so forth. Not every Fakemon drawn with flat color and a black outline is AI-generated! LLMs probably just copied that style from their training data.

2. Engagement leads to deletion.

When 10 people spam an AI-image poster that their post is against the rules, it is often deleted before we can action it. This often means we don't get a chance to see which user posted the image to begin with and, therefore, cannot effectively add mod notes for future reference (we give one permaban warning the first time a user posts AI-generated images).

This is why we ask that you just report and move on, and message us if you want to give more detail. If reported enough, a post will be removed automatically for review by the team later.

3. Toxicity.

The tendency to barrage suspected AI-users with comments has impacted our community and given it a reputation among some that the user base is toxic and prone to unwarranted witch hunts. Some users who were accused of AI have received threatening DMs and spammy comments on unrelated posts. This behavior is unacceptable and we will (and already have) banned users for this kind of harassment.

Even if the poster is posting AI images, harassment isn't warranted - our goal should always be to encourage traditional art creation and bring people in, not push them out. It is especialy egregious if a user who *isn't* using generative AI is accused and then harassed for it, as this pushes out potential contributors.

We dislike the influx of AI-generated "art" populating the internet as much as you all do. However, we ask that the users leave the "Is it AI?" game to the moderators.

~ ~ ~

Now, to get ahead of a few questions that we expect:

What if you're wrong and a user is posting AI-generated images, and it gets proven later?

If we receive sufficient evidence that we were wrong, we will correct our mistake and ban the user. Same goes the other way around - if a user is banned for AI when they shouldn't have been and we are shown that we made the wrong call, we will reverse the ban.

What if I think you're wrong and believe someone's work *is* AI, even though it's been approved by the moderators?

Message the mods with your case. We make no promises that it will overturn any decision unless you provide substantial evidence. "It looks like AI" is not all it takes to determine if something is AI.

Why this long post?

We felt there was a lot to address!

Thanks for reading and for understanding this request. We'll be keeping an eye on this post and are happy to answer any further questions to the best of our ability.

TL;DR: AI-generated images are still not allowed, please just report them and move on when you see them, Engaging with suspected AI images only makes it worse. Don't harass anyone over it please and thank you!

edit: reddit boomed all of my markdown ugh I fixed it

My own fan made pokemon

Its name is Gaialiberia, Dragon/rock. The god of balence and earth. It keeps the other 3 in check, and before the other 3 were created, it was sent by Arceus to defend the earth from a alien like creature

We're building a game, would you like to have one of your Fakemons in it?

Hi guys! Some of you may have seen a few of our fakemon designs out here already, and if not, we're building a videogame with tons of mons.
Since your warming love for our creatures has given a boost to our morale, we were thinking to interact a bit more with you and maybe reward you in a way.
We're heading towards a free playtest later this year, and we wanted to know if any of you would like to have their design (only original artworks, nothing coming straight from pokemon, we don't wanna be sued!) inside our game, to see it take life in 3D, animations and attacks and whatever comes to mind!
There will be no money whatsoever in this, just a regular contest where the most appreciated wins.
If you like the idea, let me know in the comments, we'll see how to organize a contest somehow!
Would have loved to host it here, but cannot share images in the comments 😞

EDIT: I wrote a comment but it may be better to add it here in the post, we could host it in our subreddit, r/pemkieisland, join here and keep an eye out to when the contest post will go up with all the rules and time duration of it. We'll also share the winner here in Fakemon once it's over!

Hope this post isn't breaking any rules, and if it is, I sincerely apologize! 👀
