[OC] Here are the designs for Bulballey, Riverry, and Lillanlow from Marblemon, a monster catcher project of mine.

Marblemon are creatures that can all transform in a small blue marble when threatened. This is what connects them all together.

Marblemon can have up to 3 base abilities, with a 4th passive ability that has to be activated to take effect. Only one Marblemon can activate their passive per battle.

Each Marblemon has 3 alternate color schemes. A 1/1000 alter, 1/2000 ultra alter, and a 1/4000 hyper alter.

This line was received very positively when I posted my design dumps for Marblemon, so I wanted to make a post solely focused on them so that I could share more about them, like their stats, abilities, and entries.

[OC] chuddy caterpillar thing for my personal monster catcher concept, Marblemon

Middle stage, instead of becoming a beautiful butterfly it just keeps eating and becomes huge

Haven’t designed it’s evolution or pre-evolution yet. Also it doesn’t have a name

Probably one of the craziest runs I’ve had in a while

I started this run cuz I wanted to use some of the new mega that dropped. And to my surprise, I got almost all of them to mega evolve.
During this run, I ran into the clown and all my Pokémon’s types were changed. Almost all of the changes were way better, besides two of them.
First off, Dragalge. I was very surprised with how good it was, easily being one of my top 3 Pokémon used. The last time I used Dragalge, before the mega, it didn’t impress me very much. This Dragalge was turned into a poison water type, and this run heavily reminded me how good that type is, and how much better it is on Dragalge than poison dragon is. With calm mind, huge bulk, and STAB adaptability bouncy bubble, it was almost completely unkillable and sweeped several major fights for me, including Eternatus. I also think Dragalge is a very underrated mega design.

Next is Scrafty. Now, it didn’t impress me all too much this time… but thats cuz it was almost just as good as the last time I used it, just slightly better. Dragon dance allowed it to outspeed pretty much everything after just one boost, and it’s strong STABS let it sweep with just a few moxie boosts. It performed pretty much exactly the same as last time, but it was much bulkier. It was also a dark and ice type instead of dark fighting. While the STAB on high jump kick was slightly missed, it usually just one-shot everything anyways, so it wasn’t too different. Fighting dark and ice is a very strong type combination. I also got max wide lens on it pretty early on, so I never missed any triple axels or high jump kicks. I dropped sucker punch since I usually outsped everything anyways, and its low pp and attack requirement made it pretty unreliable.

Beedrill was basically just an atom bomb. It was a bug and fighting type this run, so its close combats ran straight through even 4x resists. Shocker, an adaptability boosted 120 base power move off of a 150 attack stat backed by tinted lens and victory dance boosts is absurdly strong. Not to mention I rarely even needed the victory dance boosts, it basically one shot everything anyways. While I do miss it having thousand arrows, it still keeps drill run for ground coverage, and close combat is just crazy good on it. Beedrill, Scrafty, and Dragalge were easily the run MVPS. It’s not a new mega, but I’ve been saving candies for the day its new shinies would drop, and I got its t3 almost immediately. Still haven’t seen the t2 yet. Anyways, I think the new shiny looks great, especially the stingers, though I think I would like it more if the eyes were also yellow.

Scolipede didnt really get to shine in this run. The mega stone came extremely late, it became a bug and psychic type from the clown despite not having any psychic type moves, and I didn’t get swords dance on it at all. It’s a shame, because I love mega Scolipede and was hoping to use it. Base Scolipede was decently useful early on in the run, but fell off almost immediately after I got my first mega stone. Maybe I’ll try it again in another run.

Eelektross was the only one I didn’t get a mega stone for, so I didn’t really use it much. When I did use it though, it kinda just died really quickly. Shame, Eelektross is one of my favorite new megas, too. Also it became an electric and bug type. I was hoping it would make its leech life much better, but it just didn’t deal enough damage or heal enough to make good use of it.

Golisopod was also a bit disappointing. To be honest, it’s been a bit disappointing in most runs I’ve had, even before it’s mega. Its egg move obstruct is kinda weird to use and I honestly just prefer swords dance significantly more since it allows Golisopod to stay strong throughout a match instead of only hurting Pokémon with contact moves. It also doesn’t hit as hard as I hope it would, though thats probably just my fault for always trying to make it work with low power priority moves. It’s probably the 4th best Pokémon I used, since it did help sometimes, though I didn’t use it much. Also, the clown made it a bug and steel type even before it’s mega, which I thought was kinda funny. Golisopod is one of my favorite Pokémon, and I was kinda disappointed in its megas design when it was revealed… was kinda hoping I would like the mega more after this run, but oh well.

[OC] A whole ‘nother dump of the designs for my creature collector, Marblemon. Which ones are your favorites?

And also the entire Peaki-Bu evolution line because I’m proud of their naming scheme
