Numerical reasoning

I really need some help with this kind of maths problem.

Im doing a timed assessment for a role I’m applying for. I cant use a calculator. I dont find the maths particularly hard. I can work it out when i have the time. The problem is i cant seem to do it at the speed i need to and i keep getting below average on practice questions because im taking so long.

Are there any tips or advice for ways to quickly work out this kind of question. Assuming i have 12 minutes to answer 20 questions.

Mrs Fuller wants to return a t-shirt, a pair of designer shoes, a dress and a pair of jeans, which cost £12.95, £85.99, £17.99 and £22.99 respectively. How much does she stand to gain if all the items are returned?

£149.92
£133.92
£132.92
£139.91
£139.92

Numerical reasoning

I recently did a DAA and by worst was numerical reasoning.

It wasn’t that i couldnt do the maths but i just spent too long on questions. Ive been doing a lot of revision but i wanted to know if anyone had any tips for knowing how to skim through some of the questions or when its worth your time working out the answer or moving on.

It seems regardless of how much revision i do theres a lot of mental maths i have to do and i dont feel comfortable working it all out with the time pressure.

To add++

I applied for RM officer

Cheers

(Eng)Landlord failing to repair mould and damp

Hi, essentially on the 4th of april i found mould in a new tenancy (basement room) i just started.
After 3 weeks they had done nothing except send a handyman and plumber to just take a look.
I asked permission to remove the carpet myself and proceeded to on the 24th.

I found a crack in the concrete floor with damp surrounding it and mould throughout the underlay.

They offered me £50 off my rent.

There have still done nothing even now except empty promises.

I’ve contacted the council but its been almost 2 weeks and still no reply. Ive also spoken to CA but they advised i just wait for the council.

I want to speed this up.

I want money back on my previous 2 months rent as the room has essentially not been in use. My belongings are all still in boxes. I also would like to seek compensation. I am seriously out of whack waiting for this to get fixed. I try to barely go in the room. Who should i contact for legal advice? Ive noticed no win no fee but unsure on the exact direction to take.

Cheers
