I have a couple sliders from Magnus that have Zirc plates. The oldest one I have is starting to show some wear on the Zirc to the point it’s getting shiny. Has anyone removed the magnets and taken a torch to them to blacken them back up?

Zirc, copper, and stonewashed with parts swapped, I like the contrast this creates.
