Here’s my quiet fidgets, what should I get next?

I really like these, but I’m wondering what I should get next for playing with while I’m in cubicle office land.

This has become too satisfying

I know I’m late to the party, but recently got this move down pretty consistently and I can’t get enough. I’m sure I’m a total noob, but I am hyped lol

Ma Ya Tan and Lautie Choc comparison

I loved the Choc and when I saw all the hype around the Ma Ya Tan, I thought I'd check it out.

As you'll notice straight away, the Ma Ya Tan is a lot louder. At least, it's capacity for being quiet is a lot lower. I tuned the Choc to be as quiet as I could make it, and I tried to do the same with the Ma Ya Tan, but no amount of tuning could get it to a point where I would consider it quiet.

So instead, I gave up on quiet and just tried to make the sound as pleasing to my ear as possible. I have to say, it is one of the most satisfying sounding mechanical sliders I've used.

As for the feel; I really like the magnetic pullback at the end of a stroke with the Ma Ya Tan. The way it clicks back into place and makes a satisfying little noise is quite addicting. I like zipper style sliders so I prefer the dense track, but the standard track is quite nice too. I have the ultra-dense track in the Choc (and dual-bead slot).

The Ma Ya Tan is slightly wider and thicker than the Choc, which actually makes it feel a little nicer to hold. The Choc is very slightly heavier (I have the Zirc/SS model), but the difference is barely noticeable unless you're holding both at the same time.

I really appreciate how easy the Ma Ya Tan is to take apart, it makes it super easy to tune and tweak until you get it exactly how you like it. And since there's two tracks built in to the top plate, it means you can super easily change the feel of the slider whenever you want by just putting the plate on the other way. Both the Choc and the Ma Ya Tan have a screwless design, but the Ma Ya Tan is slightly easier to dismantle. Although, that also means it's slightly less sturdy. I'm yet to drop it, but I'm sure if I did, the plate would fall off and the balls/springs would disappear in the abyss of my carpeted floor.

Overall, I really love both. For the price, the Ma Ya Tan is awesome.

Fidgimoto Vortex is silent and lovely

It's a very simple fidget, super subdued and elegant. About the same size and shape as a Clipper lighter, easy to palm and keep hidden as well. It's smaller than expected, but that makes it very easy to roll it between your fingers

Aura Sand

It says on the Geeone website that it scratches after use. Are you supposed to do something to prevent that? I’m considering buying one. Thanks!

My first premium fidget purchase… and a pretty disappointing surprise 😕

(If GeeOne happens to pass by here, it’d be great if you could take a look and help me out)

Hey everyone! Huge Pokémon fan and fidget toy enthusiast here. I just got my very first premium fidget: the Lautie Choc DIY Pokémon on GEEONE. I was super excited but when I unboxed it, I couldn’t ignore a pretty serious engraving defect on the bottom piece: the whole thing was engraved upside down. As a result, the engravings don’t line up between the two parts at all (Pikachu’s tail doesn’t connect properly, and worse, the two Pikachu faces that are supposed to form on the ends end up as 4 eyes on one side and 2 mouths on the other 😅).

I tried flipping the piece around to see if it would line up differently, but it’s not symmetrical, so there’s no way to fix it that way.

Kind of a bummer for a first purchase at this price point. I’ve reached out to customer service to ask for a replacement piece, will update you on how it goes!

Has anyone else run into this kind of issue with GeeOne?

Question to all Mot Owl and Mot snap clone users

Hello everyone,

I’m considering the Silver Mot owl clone and Rainbow Mot snap clone

I want to know from all current owners :

-How well are they holding up ?

-Any rusting or bad hand smell from use?

-Any colors I should avoid ?
(Might sound like a dumb question but I fear Rainbow Mot snap reflecting too much light annoying my eyes or something)

This would be my first time getting metallic fidgets.

Any advice, photos, videos would be greatly appreciated

Thanks a lot!

PEEK vs PEI comparison - Mechanical sliders

Is there any video somewhere, which does a sound comparison between a mechanical PEEK slider, vs the same configured mechanical PEI slider? For example the Halooplayer sea shark in PEEK vs PEI.

I'm very curious, if the material makes a noticeable difference in sound, or if that is only a small not mentionable difference.

I currently mainly have PEI and metal ones and like the PEI variants alot.

And what are other mentionable differences between both materials?

Polished SS Showhand Can Version!!

This came in yesterday! It's absolutely beautiful as far as the polish goes and capturing the can top aesthetic. Definitely picks up/shows the oils from your hand like crazy, but that's the downfall of any polished material. I really like it! I know people had issues with the first Showhand I think, in terms of having no grip—the design on this one with the pull tab and indentations doesn't have any issues with grip!

I will say, out of the box, the dual bead set up was kind of awful? It made it too dense and I actually did have trouble spinning it. I took one of the beads out and it's very easy to use now though.

It's very loud and crunchy. The haptic feedback itself is great! The noise it makes is a little much, at least for use around other people, but the crunch itself is solid.

Anyone here actually own the MOT Groove Pro Fu Yao?

I came across a few owners sharing this crystal-sealed Fu Yao on social media and now I’m a little annoyed that I can’t seem to find one available anywhere anymore—the glow looks especially nice around the dragon’s eyes. Has anyone here handled one in person, and what did you think of it?

I'm considering joker slider version.

Which would you recommend more, a double stainless steal joker or an original joker? I'm struggling to decide what to buy.
