I loaned my 30-yr-old (but still functional) headsets to a teen who was getting started with the Civil Air Patrol. Her interest waned and she ended up storing them in her attic for several years before returning them. The cables and foam were completely destroyed by the heat in the attic. Are there any repair options?
I have two single-car garage doors. I replaced my garage door bottom seals and installed new “green” hinges along with new nylon rollers, and both doors are now slightly crooked when closed as a result. I’m debating whether to have the garage door contractor replace my old (unsecured with safety cable) extension springs with torsion springs, vs. buying new extension springs and installing them myself. I was leaning towards the (much cheaper) DIY route, but I’m concerned that the existing pulleys for the extension springs seem to be misaligned due to the cables being misaligned, and I don’t want to put in new springs only to end up with the same problem. Any thoughts?
I can’t seem to match it anywhere. The Windsor P-bulb seal looks similar but the dimensions don’t match exactly.
