I built Pantry to Plate — an app that helps you find meals using ingredients you already have

Hey everyone — I recently launched my app Pantry to Plate on Android and iOS.

The app helps answer the everyday question: “What can I make with what I already have?”

You add the ingredients in your pantry, fridge, or freezer, and Pantry to Plate suggests recipes you can make right now, plus close matches that only need one or two more items.

I built it because I wanted a simple way to reduce wasted food, avoid extra grocery trips, and make dinner decisions easier without scrolling through recipes that require a bunch of ingredients I don’t have.

Current features include:

Ingredient-based recipe matching

Ready-now and close-match recipe suggestions

Step-by-step cook mode

Favorites and recent recipes

Meal filters like breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, dessert, and baking

I’d love honest feedback on the app experience, design, onboarding, recipe flow, or anything that feels confusing.

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6771440423

Thanks for taking a look. I’m happy to check out other apps here too.

Hi everyone — I’m looking for Android testers for Pantry to Plate, a simple meal-planning app that helps you figure out what to cook based on ingredients you already have.

Google Play testing link:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pantrytoplate.app

Store listing:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pantrytoplate.app

Because this is a Google Play closed test, I will need to add your Gmail/Google Play email to the tester list before the testing link works. Feel free to DM me the Google account email you use for Play Store testing, and I’ll add you.

What I’m looking for feedback on:

  • Whether the app is easy to understand
  • Whether adding ingredients feels smooth
  • Whether the meal suggestions make sense
  • Any bugs, layout issues, or confusing wording

Current features:

  • Add pantry/fridge ingredients
  • See meal ideas based on what you have
  • See what is ready now vs. what needs 1–2 more items

Planned features include saved recipes, recent recipes, diet filters, shopping lists, and AI pantry scanning.

I’m also happy to test other Android apps in return. Send me your testing link and any specific areas you want feedback on.
