This is my 2018 Mustang Ecoboost, it has the NXT step performance catback exhaust. I’ve already deleted the resonator like last year
I wanted to share my clip for others to have a reference, is there some drone, yes.
I spoke to a professional muffler shop in my city that recommended to me going straight pipe for the turbo 4 cyl, which in the past they’ve noticed it responds surprisingly well specifically to the ecoboost platform.
I don’t know if they were trying to hype me up, but they insisted I come to their shop to show previous and similar exhaust work done on the Ecoboost mustang. In addition, they said they can install aftermarket “valve controller” so i can quiet down the exhaust.
What are your thoughts about using a valve controller if i do decided to go straight pipe?
Ive already done a resonator delete, and i still have my stock catalytic converter.
