Such an underrated moment of the show

Enjoy the friends and moments right now, because you never know, maybe today might be the last time you will ever see them again

Alternative Night Hangout spots

With most of the normal night hangouts places closed, what alternatives spots are still available, not too loud not too crowded. Any suggestions will be appreciated

Proud of African football

For the first in the WC watching these African teams play you could sense that we have really improved and no longer playing for scrapes but we can go toe to toe with the big teams. We used to cry because we would lose by many goals but, now we cry because we should have won them 😅

I know we still had some instances of inferiority complex when leading, it’s growing pains but we have closed the gap between us and the big nations, and if this World Cup is any evidence, we might soon topple the Americas, and become the second best continent in football (see how Brazil, Argentina and Colombia struggled against us),
I know its still a long way to go but on the right track.

Why do people not enjoy a good defensive game?

I believe elite defending is on par with attacking in terms of excitement, because the level of concentration and discipline usually required is just superb. I hate people terming teams that are well drilled defensively as haram football, and I think pundits and football commentators tend to also push this narrative even further with labels such as " He should have scored there", undermining either brilliant goalkeeping or defending.

Such as the active defending Ghana displayed against England, where they not only sat deep, but also their midfield and forward line gave the on-ball players no time to create incisive passes.
