reddit.comAnyone in NLC use USPS Informed Delivery? If so, do you find it is inaccurate? I ask because about 50% of the time I see stuff that I'm supposedly to receive never shows up in my mail box. It's mostly junk mail which is fine but just the same if USPS has it, then deliver it.
I don't remember exactly when I bought this HT. It was in the early to mid 80s but it has been a great performer all these years. Went through some battery pack rebuilds over the years. I managed to get it working after it was submerged for a few minutes in salt water at a Long Island Sound boat launch many years ago. But today I went to use it and no transmit function. Not sure what failed but I tried to fix it and of course due to age, things started falling apart as I carefully disassembled to troubleshoot. The little ribbon cables disintegrated. That's probably where the failure occurred. Into the trash it went. It didn't owe me anything. RIP.
a couple of weeks ago I was looking for something in my messy disorganized garage and found a open bag of grass seed (sun/shade mix) that was about 4 or so years old. I figured it wouldn't be any good but on a long shot I scratched up a few bare areas in my backyard and spread it around 2 weeks ago. It germinated 2 days ago and after some light rain yesterday it's about an 1 1/2 tall. Don't believe expiration dates or that grass seed is only good for a year or two.
