Glass bottles not delivered; retailer telling us it's our fault? (England)

Asking as not sure if this is different as it's business to business rather than business to customer.

Colleague ordered a number of items from a supplier, including 6 bottles of Prosecco. The bottles were despatched via DHL and not delivered. The supplier has told us that it's not their problem, and we still need to pay for the prosecco as per their Ts&Cs

My understanding is that it's their problem if the goods are not delivered properly - is this the case, or am I completely wrong?
