Farewell my sweet Meg 🕊

Today I had to say goodbye to my sweetest girl that loved a puzzle just as much as I.

Unfortunately, she was very ill in her senior years and it was a kindness to let her go before she felt even worse. I thought it would be fitting to post her here, everytime I do a puzzle I will have very happy memories of her. She has a brother and sister (not biologically) that will, no doubt, keep me company when doing puzzles going forward. 🕊🧩

1000 pc summer evening walk- wind and the willows. Museums and Galleries 🧩

This is not a puzzle I would have picked( very green), but my mum asked me to try it for her, to frame and gift to my niece. It was a bit daunting at first, but I am really happy with how it turned out. It was worth the effort. It took about a 2.5 weeks in total. I had to push it aside a few times (life got in the way).

The brand is excellent quality, which made life easier.

Puzzle piece counts

Hello

I have only ever bought and completed 1000pc puzzles. I really enjoy them and they are a nice size for me to complete ref size and the space I have to do them.

I have considered trying a few 500 piece puzzles but I am a bit apprehensive and I don't know if it's because I think they'll be less challenging or ill complete them too quickly?! Any thoughts? Can 500 pieces be just as fullfilling as a 1000 pieces?

Easy puzzle or am I getting better at them?

I am currently doing my 7th puzzle, and I've found it really easy compared to my previous puzzles.

I did spend more time sorting, and I have to admit the border was tricky, but I got it done. Now I feel like I am sailing through it.

I will attach a picture, it is the 1000pc Orient Express by Skittledog. I am not sure if there is some brain re wiring going on or if it's an easier puzzle 😹 what's your thoughts?

Recommendation of how/where to donate clothes for women in need!

As the title suggests, I am looking for recommendations on how and where to donate clothes to women in crisis around the city and surrounding area. I would like to donate knowing they will be directly going to women in need. I understand that for safety reasons, locations can not be disclosed for some services.

Thanks in advance

1000 pieces, Olga Suvorova- Pomegranate

I absolutely love this finished puzzle. I must admit that when I first opened the box and looked at the pieces, I was a bit worried because it is an art piece, and the brush strokes threw me a litle -but it was pleasure to do once I got acquainted with it. I am framing it, I bought it purposely to frame it and hang it in my living room.

I'm starting to come together nicely. It took me a while to get the 'hang' of the colours/style, but my brain/eyes have adjusted. It's such a beautiful puzzle. I plan on framing it when it is complete.
