Today was my 9th meeting in a row and alcohol free for 7 in a row.

I have been to 9 now and haven't asked for a sponsor yet. How long did you wait?

I have been to 8 meetings in a row and am 6 days alcohol free. I just dont know about these meetings. There all so much older than me. I dont think im ready for a sponsor just yet. I was just wondering if you could do this online. Thanks.

Attended my 5th meeting today. When i got home, there were four leftover beers from a few nights before. (I drank after my first two meetings) and dumped them down the drain. It felt good. Day 3 down

Yea me! Also got my big book yesterday and plan on hitting a meeting. Lets do this.

Just a question.

I have posted a lot of dumb questions on this sub lately trying to convince myself to get to my first meeting. There is a group near me that starts at noon. I usually start drinking beer as soon as I wake up at about 10. Would it be the end of the world to go to this meeting with a few beers in me even if im just there to listen? Thanks.

Im scared of that make amends step. Can i just go and listen for a while, say 6 months without being pestered to work the steps? Thanks.

1 thing that makes my anxiety and tremor out of control is having to slide my debit card into its slot and then trying to press the 4 digit pin. I obsess about it.
