Buying a 7.3 Godzilla
I currently own a 22 6.7 powerstroke but I am considering trading it in for 7.3 godzilla.
The 6.7 has been great other than I have a lingering egr issue and lo-pressure fuel pump issue that until they grenade, warranty wont do anything about...
And it has made me think that I don't really need a diesel.
I only tow a couple times a month and the heaviest I tow is around 6-7k. Im just thinking the diesel is overkill for what I need it for and the maintenance/repairs on this thing are ridiculous. I feel like the 7.3 would reduce the amount of maintenance/repair headaches that this 6.7 is giving me.
I want a truck that is going to last me for 200-300k miles and I though the 6.7 was the ticket but with the emissions crap I dont know anymore.
I guess my concern is I feel almost wrong for getting rid of a diesel for a gasser but on paper I think the gas truck fits my needs better?
Just looking for opinions.
