2022 Ty Dillon Petty-GMS Customs (Allegiant, Ferris, Goettl)

Here are my three Ty Dillon Petty-GMS customs with the newest one being his Allegiant Airlines paint scheme. It's such a simple design and I absolutely love it. I always wished it was produced as an official car. It was one of his three primary sponsors that year (Allegiant, Ferris, Black Rifle Coffee).

Im happy with how my detail painted interior of the Allegiant car turned out. It looks better than just an all black dash. It was built off an Authentics car, so I painted the interior black with all the wiring and tubes, seat, etc, painted uniquely.

In 2022, Ty Dillon had a best finish of 10th at Bristol dirt and an average finish of 22.6.

'07 Ryan Newman Alltel Dodge Charger

No matter how you look at it, 2007 was a challenging year for NASCAR drivers. They had to drive the generation 4 car and the generation 5. This is the Gen 4 Dodge Charger that Ryan Newman drove her part of the year. Well he didn't get any wins, Rocket Man drove to five pole awards. He managed seven top fives in 15 top tens! Finished 13th overall in points for a rather solid season, if not a bit disappointing not hitting the top 10.

As for this car, it's a departure from previous seasons and rids of the white and instead is taken over by blue. The blue on this car which cannot be seen photos is this fantastic metallic blue that shines under the light. It's a show in itself!

This particular car is in Elite and one of 2,007 made.

Paul Menard At Wood Brothers

Paul Menard raced for the Wood Brothers for two seasons. His final two seasons in NASCAR Cup. For 2018 and 2019 he finished 19th in points both times. He was the definition of "being there" and not rocking the boat. He got good results but never excelled, but he also never hit low points. Usually finishing within the top 20.

During those two years he grabbed one top five and 11 top 10s. His combined average finish was 18th. Perfectly average, perfectly middle of the road.

Remember Hot Wheels Stockerz? ('03 Ryan Newman Alltel Dodge R/T)

Hot Wheels Racing was all in with NASCAR in the late to early 2000s. In the 2003 season they released a line of muscle-ized to stock cars to compete alongside the very popular Muscle Machines line. Now to my knowledge, this line by Hot Wheels only lasted for 2003 but they had a handful of drivers such as Ryan Newman, Kyle Petty, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Kurt Busch, and possibly more. They also included multiple paint schemes for some drivers. But it seems like they only lasted for one season.

The cars were diecast, had rubber tires, a plastic chassis and came on a plastic carrying case. You could also pull the car back and it raced forward at really high speeds.

The car pictured here today is Ryan Newman's 2003 Alltel Dodge R/T.

'22 Landon Cassill FOX Nation Camaro

In 2022 Landon Cassill ran 17 starts with Spire Motorsports and debuted this Fox Nation scheme at the Daytona 500. Throughout the part-time season, he had one top five, one top 10, with a best finish of 4th at summer Daytona.

As a Landon Cassill fan, you have to get creative if you want his cars. This car was never made in 1:64th scale, but this time I commissioned out to u/simon_diecast who did a superb job! I always just really liked the color scheme on this car and thrilled to have it in the scale I collect! Thank you.

Your 2009 Craftsman Truck Series Champion: Ron Hornaday

Despite Action not updating their truck casting for the Silverado, This truck represents everything Hornady had to deal with in 2009. He grabbed six victories, 15 top fives and 20 top tens on his way to whoop the field and capture the 2009 Craftsman Truck Championship.

This is his 2009 VFW Chevy Silverado 1500. Limited production made.

2008 Kenny Wallace US Border Patrol Chevy Monte Carlo

In 2008, Jay Robinson Racing had a handful of drivers in their 28 Chevy. First Kirk Shelmerdine drove at Daytona with sponsorship from Lilly Trucking of Virginia in a one race deal for Daytona. Brian Keselowski drove after until Bristol.

Then came along Kenny Wallace who drove the rest of the year starting at Nashville with the United States Border Patrol providing sponsorship. He provided the team with its career-best third-place finish at Memphis and finished sixteenth in points. Kenny drove with them again for a few more seasons and eventually got an 11th place finish in the Nationwide Series standings. It was a late career resurgence for Kenny Wallace!

This car was pretty memorable and holds a decent value in the market today. I like it for its simplicity and lines, reminiscent of US and Border and Customs vehicles paint jobs of the time.

Rare 2003 Bill Lester Dodge Dealers Dodge Ram 1500 Promo

This is a very rare, late Racing Champions product. They made these in 1:64th (closer to 1:43rd) scale and 1:24th scale. Larger car had an opening hood. Otherwise these cars could only be bought from the team or at your local Dodge dealer.

Bill Lester had two years with Bobby Hamilton Racing driving this memorable red Dodge that matched the Dodge's Evernham was driving in Cup with Bill Elliott and Jeremy Mayfield. Lester had the best finishes of his career with this truck finishing 17th and 14th in points in 2002 and 2003 respectively. His best finish in the 2003 season was a 10th place at Kansas. His teammates Ted Musgrave and Bobby Hamilton would be fighting for championships.

Thank you squad_dad for making it even possible for me to have this car in my collection. I had been searching for one for years! I appreciate you reaching out and the fantastic experience getting it shipped to me! Thank you!!

Cale Yarborough at the Wood Brothers

Cale Yarborough's time at the Wood Brothers was always part-time, but boy did he have success there. Between 1966 to 1970, he ran a handful of races with the team. It was also during his time with the Wood Brothers that he picked up 13 wins in a mixture of their Ford's and Mercury's!

The car here is his 1968 Mercury Cyclone made by Circle B Diecast's University of Racing Brand. By far the best diecast brand for NASCAR collectors currently on the market. Nothing matches the quality, the heft, the weight, the detail, and the all metal bodies like these cars do. They are truly incredible.

'96 Ted Musgrave The Family Channel Ford Thunderbird

Coming off his best points finish to date of 7th and 1995, 1996 look like a promising year for Ted Musgrave and Roush Racing. Unfortunately things didn't go as planned, but it was still a solid season. Musgrave had two top fives and seven top tens along with a pole. His average finish took a hit from 13th to 17th, but it was all chocked up too Roush equipment not being as good as the season before. They ended up 16th and points.

His highlights for the season were a third at Richmond and a fourth at Phoenix.

This Family Channel Ford Thunderbird had become well-known in the NASCAR field. This was its final year with the red and white stripes at the rear as the car would transition to a new design and The Family Channel name would be switching to PrimeStar the following year.

This car is memorable to me because it was one of the first cars I had as a kid. I remember it vividly. I had a Racing Champions version, probably his 1995 car. This is a casting by Revell and their superior Thunderbird body. I absolutely love the low stands it has as well.

Your 2005 Craftsman Truck Champion: Ted Musgrave (Promo Ram)

Admittedly this is actually a promotional piece of his 2003/2004 truck But thankfully they had the same paint scheme all the way up till 2005 when Ted Musgrave won the 2005 Craftsman Truck championship. Ted would actually perform with lesser results than his previous two seasons, where he finished third and third in points. Actually since 2001, he finished no worse than third in points.

But finally in 2005 in his final contract year with Dodge, he brought his Mopar Ram 1500 to first place in points with one victory, 11 top 5s and 15 top 10s. With this championship, Musgrave further cemented his place in truck racing royalty.

These were sold exclusively through haulers, the team's website, and your local Dodge dealership.

Too bad the season was so bad for for this team because they had some great looking cars!

The exterior of this car is already done, but I'm going to detail the interior, paint it black and paint a small details on the dash. Working on a few 2011 Robby Gordon SPEED Energy Dodge Chargers.

Sometimes there are paint schemes you just love and this is one of them for me. I have always loved US Coast Guard ships and I love how their design motif was carried over to Jerry Nadeau's US Coast guard Chevy in 2000. It's such a clean, simple scheme.

2000 was his best year up till that point as he ran with Hendrick Motorsports. He got his first career victory, three top fives and five top tens. He finished 20th in points. Little did he know that 2001 would be even better.

It is a beautiful weekend here in Everett and everyone's at the big parks like Harborview, Lower Howarth Park, Forest Park, and Legion Park, but nobody was at Howarth's Eastern Upper Park. Just a little green, with no parking, at the edge of a beautiful neighborhood. Some great views of Camano and Whidbey Island, The Olympics to the west and the Cascades to the east with Mount Baker looming large. Just a wonderful little place that was seemingly all to my own. Perfect spot for a picnic! Have a great weekend everyone!

Today is May 2nd and it is Kyle Busch's 41st birthday. Here's to a good birthday! 🎂

The car pictured is his 2021 M&M's Toyota Camry, I would say probably his most memorable car of his career. Anything with M&M's on it.
