How I Fell in Love with Arch Linux

I used to use Windows, but then I thought, "Since I'm studying Computer Science, relying only on Windows feels like I'm limiting myself."

So I decided to switch to Linux. My first Linux distro was Ubuntu. That's where I learned a lot about Linux and gained a much better understanding of how operating systems work.

After a while, I wanted more power, more customization, and complete control over my system. I wanted my OS to work the way I wanted it to. That's when I switched to Arch Linux.

Arch turned out to be perfect for me, and I absolutely love it.

The funny part is that I enjoyed installing Arch so much that now I randomly reinstall it for no reason at all. 🤣

Hi everyone, I need some help.

Hi everyone, I need some help.

I'm new to Arch Linux. I installed VLC using:

sudo pacman -Syu vlc

The installation completed successfully, but VLC won't play any videos. It opens, but the videos don't play.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
