Can AI Really Replace Human Translators?

Hi everyone! I’m a translation student, and I need to ask a question here as part of one of my university assignments. I’d really appreciate it if translators could share their opinions or experiences.
Do you think AI will eventually replace human translators, or will human translators always be necessary? Why?
I’m interested in hearing from people who actually work in translation or have experience with it. Your answers would really help me with my assignment. Thank you!

What is the hardest part of learning translation?

Hi everyone!
I’m an English student currently taking a translation course, and I would love to hear your opinions.
What do you think is the hardest part of learning translation? Is it finding the right words, understanding the context, dealing with cultural differences, or keeping the original meaning?
I’m especially interested in hearing from translation students or translators.
This post is part of a course requirement, so I would really appreciate any answers or experiences you can share. Thank you!
