I’ve had this guy for 2-1/2 to 3 months now, and today and yesterday were the first days I felt comfortable leaving it outside (still brought it inside for the night and when it looked like it was going to thunderstorm), as temperatures are now hitting the 70s and 80s. For those who grow these guys in the northeast U.S or any similar climate, can you leave them outside on a consistent basis? do you have to worry about thunderstorms or other weather patterns? is it warm and humid enough? etc

I’ve been growing these dates from seed since last December, and they have been doing really well since then. Recently, however, I noticed browning on the stem at the base of the first fronds. are they getting enough water? do they need to be replanted? etc help would be greatly appreciated

I don’t know if this is the right subreddit to post this in (so sorry if it isn’t), but I have been getting these random calls, voicemails and texts from “polaris powersports dealers” all across the U.S. They ask things like “hey Mia (which is not my name) I see you’ve inquired about our inventory etc”. These have been going on for two f*cking days now, and many times, I can get up to 5 to 10 of these things in the matter of 10 minutes. I started with the “cease and desist” move, tried blocking them, and even set up my settings that I’m now supposedly only supposed to get calls and texts from my saved contacts, yet they still come through. It’s REALLY pissing me the f*ck off.
