9 week old appleyards!

They are gorgeous birds!!! However, I thought they would most of their adult colors at this stage. I was wrong. We were banking on the 8 week mark to tell us what sex they were. Currently we only have 1 duck that has the distinct “quack”. Take time and enjoy the watermelon destruction, but someone please set my mind at ease that my duck purchase won’t leave me with 8 drakes out of the 9…

Dewalt powerstack wont work.

The low voltage cutoff works great with the old battery, but those are worn out due to overuse without the cutoff. I bought these powerstacks that work great in my tools, but not in this vehicle. I thought it might have been the cutoff being the issue, but the vehicle only lurches forward a half inch and quits. What am I missing with this style battery?

Silver appleyards!

Here we are at 5 days old! I know it’s hard to tell sex at this age visually. From what I’ve read is females tend to be a little darker. Is there any truth to that or will I just have to wait for bill color to come in more?
